Hi I got a powermaster 30 with wireless keypad kp160 and kp250 when I arm the panel it's ok but when the alarm rings the disarm option does not accept the user codes or proxy tags it only allows me to disarm the panel using the phone app any ideas please Kind regards Naeem

Hello, I'm trying to update a couple of keypads on our system but with no luck. Tried to update via level 4 but after the check, the keypad states no updates are available. I also tried using a micro sd card but get a message stating no file found. Using the sd card, neither of these methods worked. I tried; Uploading the zip file downloaded from MyScantronic intact Extracting the zip files and leaving them all on the card Only uploading the two relevant files to the card, the language file and .bin file They are both Key-kpz01 wired models running v5.23

Hi, I have a 8750 panel and I’m trying to get a RFX16 connected I’ve got it wired in etc but can’t pair a remote even with RFX connected to a battery on the bench. I tried the 2w 4b Eaton telecommand which didn’t work and tried a few other random 868mhz I had around. Does the RFX only work with specific fobs like the 728r or can anyone suggest a universal replacement? thanks

Hello, I recently installed the above alarm system and it all works great. In the last couple of days I upped the number of keypads to 2 and again it all works but the A, B, C & D keys on the second (new) keypad don’t light up when the alarm has been set. They do still light up on the first keypad. Is this as you would expect according to design or am I missing a trick or maybe the keypad is faulty. I’m not utilising partitions but I am using button A for full set and B for part set, omitting upstairs detectors. Both keypads are wired in a star configuration and are key-KPZ01 models. I have a i-on40 panel with a key-kpz01 keypad and a mix of wired and wireless PIRS which I installed myself. I'm hoping someone can help as I have contacted Eaton and they just knocked me back saying the product was discontinued and replaced with the i-ion40H. Basically a "go-away we can't be bothered" email. I'm trying to find out what the latest firmware and language set versions are for the panel and where I can download them as the Scantronic support site only has the new 40H shown. Hi, I have installed a Texecom Premier Elite for a client (I can't access the trade area as haven't made 5 posts) 2 years ago. I have the PIRs wired as EOL with standard 2k2 and 4k7 resistors. On Thursday night and Last night, I have had a notification of zone tampers. I went to the site on Friday and checked the log and wiring. The log shows that all zones had a tamper alarm at exactly the same time. The same thing happened last night too. I'm not sure what is causing all zones to tamper at the same time, has anyone seen this before or got any points that I should look out for. I don't install many alarms, mainly CCTV o…

Anyone know of any kits which convert lathams steel doors from multi point locking to a strike plate lock ?. Or something which will automate door locking ? Paxton and a single fail secure electric strike plate on the door, customer doesnt mind if they only have one point of locking instead of the multi point as supplied on the door. Something that will allow them entry to their unit for daytime use (they will lock the door using the key and multi bolts at night if theres no multi point motor style driven kit). Lathams now use hooply locks, which I've never dealt with before. Any ideas folks ?

I am replacing an existing old bell box with a Reson 8 bell box 8EP420. My alarm panel is a Optima G4. They are connected via a 4 core cable. Hi all We had a power cut at our premises last week and every since a reset after the alarm was actually triggered as we needed a different door to get in due to power being off on the morning, we are having nothing but trouble with system alerts. We get a com line 2 fault, ATS path fault and No ATS available. (the app on iphone has also stopped) We have tried engineer access to reset the faults, however they persist. I have tried doing a reset on the com port 1 (smartcom) and com port 2 (COMIP).
