Hi, I am having a unique problem with the Galaxy Dimension 520 panel. Currently there are two keypads on the system: one keyprox downstairs at address 10 and one normal keypad upstairs at address 20. I am trying to change out the normal keypad for a keyprox however I cannot get the new keyprox to work. I have removed keypad 20 and attached the new keyprox but whenever I try to add the module it does not appear and either flashes with a blank screen or flashes the *********** across the screen. I am interested in the Scantronic i-on40h panel as a replacement for my existing wired security system. My house is currently protected via a hard wired and I plan to add more zones (wirelessly to avoid pulling cables in), but I am also wanting to protect my detached garage which is approximately 30 metres away from the house. The garage has a wired internet connect and there is also WiFi available. Can you please advise of the best and most secure way to add a new zone to this type of alarm (is an extender required)? A site I look after is being overcharged each time they request a new remote for their electric gate The controller is a Nice MCA1 I have looked into the possibility of installing a Nice universal receiver that can support low cost remotes if there is such a thing It would also need to support 50+ remotes if possible for all staff and tenants I took some photos if anyone wants to have a look and let me know please. I moved into a house some months ago and it has an ADT alarm system in place. I was left the arm and disarm code and that was all I have. Via google I established it was a Visionic PG2 Powermaster 360R. In my ignorance in trying to add key fobs and play around with system settings I followed advice online that i thought would reset the 'Installer' and 'Master Installer' codes, but all it has done is unregistered all the sensors in the house thus leaving the device useless. Hi, I've got a CQR Ultima connected to my Menvier TS900 and the rkp is displaying aux/rem tamper fault that won't clear. Does the bell tamper also need to be connected to the aux tamper on the panel?

Due to continual cloud failures we have not been using the EATON app. The panel (i-on-30R) is now hardwired into the network and we have a reliable connection. However, I find that I am getting the above error message on my Samsung Galaxy phone and any attempt to use it results in the app crashing. I have tried uninstalling, clearing cache, clearing app data and rebooting the phone. All to no avail. The app works perfectly well on an i-phone and a Lenovo tablet. Any ideas?

Hi alarm experts ? I bought a complete Risco system and are playing with it here on the table before starting the install. It will be replacing a 25 years old Karizma Plus system. I have most of the stuff configured, but there are still some things not working. I installed 4G card with voice, voice module and the panel is connected with ethernet cable. Long story short I have a Scantronic i-on40H Hybrid Control Panel with a KEY-KPZ01 Keypad and it's due for servicing soon (and I'd like to make some changes). However I'd like use a different company than the original installer to make these changes and service it. To do this the old company wants a small fortune to come out and reset it to an engineer/installer code of my choice which I can then give to the new installer/servicer. Hi Guys I've done a self install but suddenly out of nowhere got an internal alarm going off The completed alarm has only been fully set up for 2-3 days Ive a sneaky feeling its the external alarm box tamper thats maybe dodgy? It says Auxiliary Tamper, I checked all my Ricochet Mesh Technology Items, Keypad, PIR ETC No issues came up can anyone tell me if my wiring looks OK please?

Hi So when i enter my house through the front door and don't put in the user code I am just getting a INTERNAL PANEL ALARM My outside Siren, and 2 indoor ones do not go into full alarm Yet my system is fully set Ive done a walk test and all ricochet are all 100% with no issues! i want the entry to come on says 10 secs but as soon as i hit the PIR Goes into full alarm mode Do you know what the settings are in Wintex or keypad to make it do that? My premier elite 64 wireless system and keypad doesn't set via the wireless keypad I Put in the 4 digit user code but when i press tick to set it doesnt do anything But it sets okay on Wintex and Smartcom App Also, it UNARMS OK on the wireless keypad but just refuses to set! Does anyone know why the wireless keypad doesnt ARM ? But unarms OK? Also arms ok on wintex and smartcom app ? Thanks

Ok I give up. I have a scantronic account and am reinstalling an i-on30R. It is running an old v5.02.19 software. I've got the new v 7 code downloaded, but it doesn't seem to find it on a SD card. I can't for the life of me find where in the support page the downloader software link is. Any tips ? Not asking for the software, just where on the web site they've hid it. Thanks, Roy

Hi there, In the process of swapping out a first gen i-on16 with a modern i-30R. It currently has a Version 1 i-kp01 keypad connected to it. When powering up the kep pad is saying Press addr buttons on wired keypads. I'm holding A and Tick down but it is not working. Do you think this will be due to it being a version 1 keypad and it expecting to hardwire onto the bus ? Thanks, Roy

I'm trying to work out the wiring of an ancient PIR sensor that's been disabled. I don't know if it's been disabled because it's faulty or for another reason. I've got a replacement PIR sensor but I thought it would be good to work out the wiring and test the existing sensor before attempting to replace it. It's currently wired like this: Blue & Red: tamper detection (T2 & T1). This is working. Yellow & Black: Wired together in (C) White: Negative (V-) I guessed that Green might be V+ and the PIR circuit wired together, so I tried wiring Green to V+ and Yellow to the unused NC. Hi All Recently doing some DIY and unfortunately made a mistake and unscrewed the screws off the lid of the alarm (needed access to something behind it in cupboard). Anyway, internal alarm went off, managed to switch this off by entering code on panel, and I put the screws back in place without removing the lid. Now the panel says "lid tamper" and can't use the alarm. Tried to contact original installer but they are not in business anymore. Can anyone provide some instructions on how to reset the alarm to get rid of this fault? Thanks Alan
