Hello, I'm searching for a new external sounder + strobe to work with a Paragon Plus wired alarm system, as the existing unit is faulty (the SAB module has died ☹️) and to get into the box I'll have to butcher the cover as the new soffit is hard up against the cover so I can't remove it ? Hi there I have a Chubb/Guardall PX48i control unit that was fitted in 2010 by the insurance company following a burglary, but connected to a much older (the battery inside was dated 1988!) bell box. The control panel started showing failed battery self test recently so have replaced the batteries in the controller and bell box and all is well again, however, it got me thinking that a newer bell box would be a better deterrant. I found a 2017 Chubb Delta 7 box on ebay which has arrived. The wiring doesn't bear any resemblance to the older bell box though, and I was hoping someone might be able to help me with wiring up the new one. I've attached…

Hi I got I I on 40 h scantronic been working fine but today the alarm activated by it self and on the keypad it was saying the wireless window contact had a tamper but I checked it but it was still ok no tamper issues that I can see but every time I go to arm the system the keypad is displayed with the same message bathroom tamper fault any idears please

I am having Flex 20 panel. In this i need to conenct 8 Door Contacts and 8 siresn. So i have done 3 outputs in the main panel. But when i start working on the RIO module, the 4 outputs in the RIO are not responding. I have tries Bells,Strobe,PA. But didnt work. Is there anything i am missing to enable the outputs in the RIO. The zones are working fine in the RIO, only problem is the Outputs. @Galaxy Guycould you please help??

Hello, We have an Agility 3 system, installer got taken over and new company are a car crash. Have a paid subscription to Risco cloud, but it stopped connecting, with LAN module error. Got new IP module from eBay , its exact same part number as original RW132IP, just a later revision. Found all the manuals on the net, and used a DIP switch to reset the installer code to access the Programming menus etc. But IP module won't work when set to DHCP, so manually set IP and can see the Agility registered on the router. But still can't connect either to the cloud, or by using the Risco Config Software, v.4 which found on the net. Cannot e…

Hello, due to my neighbour's ever-erratic behaviour including mooning at me it now looks like a full upgrade of my home CCTV system to something HD is in order. I have a number of Concept Pro and QVIS mini done and eyeball/turret cameras which are 4-mode compatiable (CVBS/AHD/TVI/CVI) and these are giving a decent picture even for the SD recording of my current DVR - my current DVR being a Dedicated Micros DS2. The unit is very good for functionality, apart from the audio recording being a tiny bit out of sync with the images, but the approx 700x500px recording resolution isn't really suitable anymore and neither is the obscure file format in which it exports footage.. …

Hello, This has been a bit of an issue which has been bugging me for a while but I got around it temporarily, however this workaround will not be possible for much longer.... the problem is that I have a DVR set up in an outbuilding to record images from a camera or two at the far end of the property where I am undertaking building works, that DVR is connected to my local network through a wired ethernet connection - when I have the ethernet cable connected straight through from the remote DVR to the primary router then logging in to the webpage for the remote DVR works fine and a live image is displayed... **BUT** if I connect the remote DVR through my secondary router…

I am taking the opportunity of replacing my mostly inaccessible and old Bell Box while I have scaffolding around the house, with a view to maybe replacing the control panel if/when it gives up the ghost. Hi, I've just hard wired a Pyronix DeltaBell (with backlight) to a Pyronix enforcer panel, but it's not working. It was previously working fine with the same panel at another location. This time, I have not wired the tamper circuit (I removed the switch), as it's up high and the fitting surface is not particularly great. I did a reset on the panel, so the Z33 for the tamper is not active. Endstation ouput/bell output is set to 014 / Siren Any. I'm running a Texecom Premier Elite 24 that I've had installed for 9 years and it's been a brilliant setup (apart from the occasional spider induced FA or washing setting off external sensors). I'm seeking advice about why my external sounder may be malfunctioning. Several years ago I installed a DSC Powerseries alarm panel with some zone expanders and an output expander PC5204. I opted for the PC5204 because I was concerned about the amount of amps the external sounder, internal sounder and strobes would pull when the system was in alarm. Installation was fine and the system functioned fine.
