Going back to the original point if it hkc signalling and as you claim hkc servers were down the panel would of retried. I've tested loss of comms etc and it does go through on WiFi reconnection. If your talking about detector sensitivity you now think it's a detector issue. I personally use hkc at home as well as work etc I've never had a failure to detect, failure to alarm or failure to report. Probably need to add a lot more info else it looks like your blaming kit with no evidence of it being at fault. Arc logs would be a good start then panel logs. Nothing identifiable. Comms type etc etc. As it is i can only summise that detector areas were not used. For all detectors to not detect then it wasn't armed

Agreed. Shall I look into it as a hkc user. OP pm the details of the account please. Also post you have for transparency reasons It looks like pins back to front but let's see
  3. just turn it off in manager menu if its on
  4. When you say it has to stay in engineer mode you know this ignores faults? There must be a keypad 21 somewhere
  5. As a Magpies fan lets see what we can do. Why is the Functional Earth not connected. If you have connected to Protective earth in places thats going to be a nightmare. The system should be isolated from ground, it seems it isnt?
  6. Also in that environment lots of rf devices about. Is everything well shielded
  7. Move the to the start of the loop. I'm assuming a loops issue or another address causing the issues you see. Can you run all the 'rogue' mcps on their own loop local to prove they are dwfinetly OK. Then it's a cae of halfing the loop to prove that theory
  8. Also if you have used an incorrect screw you may have faked or bent the tamper switch
  9. This isnt a yale / diy system if this was possible your alarm would be easily defeated on a break in. An alarm is a great thing and way better than doorbell cams or cctv for general crime. Im assuming you would like to have one. Get it serviced and operational is my advice. No code can just 'fix' things it appears to have a tamper fault. id disagree i quite like the old ade stuff only major issue was a weak charger circuit. Looked after they last forever
  10. Or the switch in panel has failed. Stuff fails especially when it's that old. Maybe plan for a refresh
  11. Also who uses alkaline now.? In the 90s I did
  12. Good god that's a story I'll pass on. As a side note lithium not alkaline?
  13. Can't see how that would have any effect on an rf device battery. What are you classing as good batteries? I don't know the Eaton stuff I presume it's using lithium?
  14. assuming they are decent batteries (i dont know what your calling good ones) then you may have a device issue.
  15. As above its very old iad assume the rest of the quipment is of a similar age?
  16. Zone 3 is open. You need to investigate why. What is on zone 3
  17. I also read on ha forums and see in YouTube things like the best camera review. They rarely are
  18. And for 'charity' I'd go for a real charity maybe we should setup an honest way to sell it via tsi
