Yes i Raised it many years ago but there was no demand. To be fair its a bit like restricted keys etc there are ways to do it but they are costly. To me adding a wiegand interface would be be the best option
I'd go with brum due to the 'bulletproof' glass. Either needed or hoped for. I still say it isn't bulletproof
Don't need glass break detectors for that
I do hope the op and chubb sort it out though hopefully without double knock on any circuit
On the takeover, or bacon sw on the first day
It's proper rare, some sell laminated as it but real bullet proof is huge. I did a gkn contract where they made it for hummer windows must of been 75mm thick a weight was as expected. In a shop window I'd say unlikely.
But I was wrong once etc
But not behind a 'bulletproof" window with risco detectors done as a diy job Sounds like a setup for a film. No one tries diy on high value goods surely?
Remind me risco do the cheapest stuff or the best stuff?
Glass break detectors don't usually work on bulletproof glass is it actually bulletproof?
Grade 4 signalling is available but grade 4 detection isn't.
What are the insurance requirements?
I'd suggest shock detectors would be better and quicker than glass break assuming suitable ie not a main road.
Also if you have installed it check chubb will do the failure to perform cover.
Not knowing the application 'if' I just wanted to monitor an output oscillating I'd either use 2 trans relays with timers or esp32's
However if I was life I wouldn't I'd want an output from the device because if I modified it and something happened I dont think I like prison
Double knock doesn't comply. Windows tend to only break once too.
You might be better with window foil. I hate glass break sensors generally but I'd suggest a different glass break detector assuming you have it sited correctly.
An option but not the same as polled dual path signalling. I know selfmon does this just dont want it to look like signal availability is the same as use able path
