Customer has now requested a live external camera at his front door linked to his alarm app and it looks like HKC only do still pic camera at the mo. I believe Pyronics can do this but any one used any other brand. Must be wireless.

Yep thanks for the head up, Toughpad looks like the one. What about tablets apart from iPads for mobile service personnel to make up quotes on the go, don't need to be as robust needs to run apps like Office. Any suggestions much appreciated.

Anyone recommend a tablet or iPad that can be let loose with the engineers while out on service/install. I want to be able to get remote signatures back to the office. A good robust case will no doubt be needed for when it gets chucked into the toolbox.

Had Approval for many years but we dont use the functionality of AM for this.

I don't use all the functionality of AM I just need to schedule service and maintain contract details and correspondence and interact with field engineers.

I tried the AM jobsheet and just could not hack it, we are out of contract on AM so will be moving away and would be interested if anyone uses anything else. Peter, is that web based stuff something you created yourself or an off the shelf product?

Hi all, Looking to upgrade my systems and in particular Point of Sale, I would like a App based program that would also work/link to office PC base, take signatures & preferably generate quotes from App . I currently use Sage L50 & Alarmaster but would be up for a change on both. Any suggestions for research would be much appreciated.

He said a good few years ago the company he was at had to go back to a number of them with RF issues, had to fit boosters but were never right and I think this has put him off.

Anyone offer an opinion of HKC alarms as just had rep in. All looked good but one of the engineers slated them from his experiance a few years ago.
