    Hi guys thank you all for your replys . The pharapet gutter is all the way around the house. A 2-3 foot wide channel so gutter brushes and rolled wire are no good we have tried them all . I will investigate which alarm panel we have and see if it can have a separate zone and internal alarm .

    Hi everyone hope someone can help me out . We have very large pharapet gutters on the house here and suffer every winter with leaks as they block up and overflow the lead work . We have a house alarm fitted with numberous PIR sensors etc . My question is - would we be able to install a number of float switchs on the roof to trigger the main house alarm ? ? Hope this will make sense all help is very much appreciated kind regards W
