firstly - ive fitted galaxy for donkeys but only used the wirekess once or twice so know almost nothing about it! Job fitted in 2008 there is a receiver above the panel and 1001-1018 all used and all wireless except 2 hard wired circuits (1002 and 1012 which I thought was odd so I assume you map a wireless device to a circuit input??) Can we add another receiver to the panel to increase capacity and/or increase coverage?? Ta

Hi guys anyone know much about these panels. Have taken over a job with one installed engineer went to site yesterday and when he came out of engineer mode chime stopped working. Tried enabling it again by entering code and 9 but still didn't comeback on. Any ideas? Installing a Galaxy,ATS or anything else is not an option yet lol.

Hi guys will have a few of these panels to takeover in the next few week. Is there a way to default codes only and keep programming? They look very like a Aritech CD.

I have a question that i cant get answered until tommorrow unless one of you gents can see what im missing. Today i fitted a Euro one signaling EF via R/C secure. Its has the new software and when i tested 2 devices from the eng menu i cant get a confirmed. I even did a full user set and got every device but no confirmed. I tried the settings fo confirmed before and after entry but in any event these wouldnt stop me getting a confirmed from eng quick set. Any ideas what i did wrong it killing me?

I can see the benefit. One of the main issues is intruder access can feel like a bolt on after thought. Had one site three offices, one floor of a multistory the offices are split by a common landing (open to public). Installed a Premier 88 with three readers. It seemed to integrate well but there was a few issues. The reader went missing if a "site fob" was presented to the reader, this required a callout, power cycle and confirm devices. The system released the maglock, 1 second before unsetting the system. If you were too fast you could send an unconfirmed. Only used them since for intruder, maglock on entry door.

Hoping maybe Matthew can help here... Hint hint. Is there a premade user guide/ walk through for resetting the system using remote reset. ? Had a look in the user guide and can't find one there. Trying to get our ARC to do remote resets for all our systems most are galaxy's which is straightforward but we have quite a few Aritech CD panels in but The arc won't talk them through everything so after a guide to talk the user into the right menu option.

System armed 23.35 last night Activation this monring of ccts 3056, 3057, 3004, 3012, 3037, 3143 all programmed as intruder and activated a billion times within the 30 minute confirmation window. No issue with entry route as they set from outside the protected premises and no zones programmed as Final, Exit or Entry. Panel reported BA for each zone activation to us but failed to send BV. Luckily MAS detected this and brought it up for confrimed dispatch anyway but without that safety net, it wouldn't have got any action at all as the panel failed to send the BV signal. Is there something glaringly obvious as to why this failed that i've missed?

Are there any pet versions of detectors and is there a wireless PA? If not then can we wire a wired PA to a contact and prog this as PA? Ta

On a side topic to fob security, one thing I haven't liked about Premier panels since we started using them over Menvier is, being able to do the above. For example if a engineering code was compromised or left at default an end user would be non the wiser to the potential ease of adding an extra user code in Setup Users while the keypad was unoccupied. Do you feel it's a potential security issue to be able to add/delete user codes from the engineering side? Is it only Premier that seems to have a menu structure that allows this?

Anyone got software/leads for these? Just got one to come out but client wants the log off of it.

I know we have discussed this before but what are the general thoughts on the ease these things can be copied? Do you make your customers aware of this and if so are the bothered. Do you decide on the RA if its not appropriate to use 6.4.5 and use a different unset method. Are you not concerned at all? Would you prefer an option to use a different keypad/fob that prevented this or at least made it significantly more difficult to copy. And would you pay a premium for such a system?

following my issue with RSS that i got working thanks to a few chaps on here (), does anyone know the best way to get this working?? Touch point is says there is no 64 bit available, i tried it anyway and it doesn't work! Is there any know of legacy mode or anything i could try? muchly!

I want to incorportate the remote reset into our alarm handling software. I don't suppose anyone has the algorithm for either of the above?

Is there a double knock option on this panel and if so which menu is it in?

I've always been a big fan of the Castle Care-Tech Euro panel but a job that i have been on this week has been problem after problem. Having fitted the "Euro" for eight or so years i would of described them as rugged and versatile with its best feature, although not recommended, star wiring which has never been a problem so ideal for any panel change. Wednesday morning i turn up at a large four storey office building to do a takeover of the intruder alarm and upgrade the panel and all devices to grade 2. Seeing that the existing panel was a Scantronic 8136 i though to myself no problem as the Euro should be able to handle the star wiring even though it was starre…
