Does anyone know where I could source one? Really struggling to find one, we lost our in a move a few years ago Any pointers, or an old one someone might not have any use for these days for some ££ would be a great help!! Gary.

Found an old Abacus 8 panel yesterday with an RKP. Nothing unusual in that I know but this one was different from any other I've ever seen before. 6 x LEDs, one each, adj to Status, Set, Setting OK, Part Set, Wait in this configuration. Ok, no big deal, but, I collect paperwork. Anyone got some showing this RKP? I couldn't even get a photograph, camera on phone busted. Be kind, can anyone help? Pretty please.

Hi All, As we don't fit many scantronic panels now i need advice. Went to a job with 9752 panel and fobs. One fob was faulty but did not know which code slot it occupied. The only way i could replace it was to wipe out ALL codes/fobs and reprogram them in. I can't seem to find a way to just replace a faulty fob because you need to input the old code first to replace it. if anyboby knows a better way then please tell. Kev

Never used this in anger before and i see some of you use this panel. I want to have 8 sensors outside tripping the relays. I can see the options for the smart lights in the outputs menu etc but i want to have them on some sort of chime. The only circuits to have chime are alarm / ee etc. If i use this ill get a full alarm when its set. I have put them on their own block but it will arm this by default. I assuem id normally use a tech zone type but this doesnt have chime?

I've just got back from trying to resurrect a Scanny panel. I think it's the 9100 model with RKP. It's regularly serviced from the date stamps on the battery (7AH batt, dated new in 2008, with annual checks recorded on it). However, a full rewire seems to have screwed up the panel! The sparkies told me that the alarm triggered after several hours of the power being off. I said that's normal, and caused by the main battery failing. Once power was back on, the bell box would shut up. However, when the power was turned on, the sparkies found the alarm had frozen up, and they decided to open up the end station and they found "a fuse" kept blowing. They called me out to s…

Hi All, Anyone got any recommendation for a gsm dialer unit to connect to a bell only system. Basic unit only required, Call or text message to mobile when alarm tripped. A bonus would be low power so to add to panel without an extra psu. Kev

Got a take over for a good customer of ours next week. Not been to site yet, but its a Pyronix of some sort on a commercial site. Think its graded, (not that old according to client) was on a Classic Redcare, so suspect decent ish panel? It was fitted by Secom, just trying to get some manuals before i go, any thoughts about what it could be? I have some Sterling insturctions all ready, so Matrix 424? Anybody got user/eng instructions to send/put on here??

I know, I know, but we all have to do this at some time or another. Tomorrow morning I've got to go and service one of these. Never seen one, only ever seen the RS125. I've no choice can't get rid of it, so I'm stuck. I've got a Scantronic and a Menvier bible containing installation manuals for panels...circa 2000. Free to any home where they can be of use. Ideal for a junior engineer to cut their teeth on. I'm only getting rid of them as I carry them on my smart phone. ( my fault I know, phone goes flat at the wrong time - but that's my problem ) (Going no-where near ebay, these!) If you are interested please let me know.

As title really. We've taken some over recently with no real issues, however today I came across one......on a CD75. They are simple enough, 0 eng code, then 'Eng mode' displays, hit the (down) arrow and off you go. Transferred Redcare, full test, all fine and dandy. Left eng, when "goodbye" is displayed, press (tick), "system disarmed" and banner shows. However, then tried to access eng again, but this time "Engineer Here" is displayed, followed by 'Disarmed'. No matter what I did, I couldn't gain into engineer, or upon trying customer code, same message was displayed, and couldn't gain access to setting menus Now I presume this message is like a Menvier 'System bu…

What if i cant remember the file password, is there a back door way. I have just copied files from lappy to main office computer but they are locked, tried a million passwords but its having none of it.
