Trade Control Panels

Hi guys was on a job today that has a Texecom Premier installed not sure what model but has ten zones and three of the flush mount crome keypads,a wireless reciever and wireless fob which can set/unst and PA. I need to install 15 wireless shocks and and 5 wireless contacts. Was going to quote for Galaxy but seems a shame to waste keypads. Never used Texecom before. can you put multiple wireless recievers on like Galaxy? Can the 48 take wireless. Kev

I know pics arent the best, and its only the keypad, but can I crash codes only on this panel? If not how do I fully crash? and does anyone have manuals?

Whats the repacement these days other than the the MPSU? Need a direct replacement, but the MPSU has 8 zones which arent required? Cant see anything else on the cooper list

How do We have a possible nightmare on the horizon Got a TS2500 that is creaking imo. Near 200 zones used spread over networks, mixture of iD and hardwired on at least 3 networks, the other networks are hardwired. All multi warded up also Now if we were to replace it in an ideal world we'd use a Galaxy, but with the way its wired that aint gonna happen, so we are thinking a Prem/elite 640 or another Menvier..... The prem would need all the expansion/keypads swapping, but seems reasonably like for like, especially with its networks and all? (never fitted anything over a 48) M2000, looks like it could handle the zone side of things but only had 2 networks...... also …

Long story ... but had to install one of these for the first time. I am having a problem I just can't work out after reading the manual through three times now. On entry the keypad locks out and will not let you disarm the system until the timer has timed out. If the entry timer is not started the system will disarm fine, likewise if the system is in full alarm. Currently it is a DT that starts the timer programmed as [01] (Delay 1) Anybody got any ideas? Is there a setting that could do this, that I can't find in the manual?

The other day I was trying to setup galaxy gold on a galaxy 60 . Panel answers the call picks up the line but then the rss suite asks for a password for the account and gives a "access denied from galaxy panel" error I can't find anywhere in the menu on the panel for passwords except in SMS paging which I'm not using. Any ideas?

A while back we started taping plastic wallets to the end station to keep log books ect in place, which is better than paper in panels or tucked behind controls Now adding a A4 steel document box onto every job is not going to happen unless the subscriber pays for it, do you guy use these & if so spec as std or list as an option ?

Anybody know its purpose? I've never used it myself but I had a call out yesterday to a confirmed alarm preceded immediately by an AC fail. Turned out that Chubb had taken the aux feed for some detectors from the 14.5v output on the top left side of the board which isn't battery backed. Hence the detectors dropping out with the mains disconnected Checking another SPSU onsite confirmed this... So, a word of warning!

Hi guys 'm currently in the process of pricing for a big service contact which has 10 Guardall PX 500 panels installed. At the minute it is looked after by Chubb and all systems seem to have pin of the day enabled 1st time I've came across this on these panels. After reading several threads on here can someone clear things up for me. POTD can only be turned off with software? Chubb have one service visit left to do before contract ends. Will Chubb turn this off at customers request? Really want to take this contract on as customer has loads more sites but don't want to look a t**t if we take them on and can't access eng mode.

any ideas...

EDIT: I've sorted it now.... I'm an idiot. The star modifier is in the group section of the zone programming, not the function section! All working as it should It's been a long day! Had this problem before but can't for the life of me remember what the solution was! Setting up a Galaxy 96 with two groups. Each group has it's own keypad and entry/exit door (both programmed as Final), however most of the time, both groups will be set and unset from the main keypad (Group 1). Afternoon As the topic suggests I have an 8136 scantronic which I am able to send a confirmed signal on the built in digi but am not getting the restore all other channels are doing as they should is there a programming option to turn that on someware ?

ewe, I think I found the reason why the data network is down I think it may have been a slug, theres either leak on the fall pipe or rising damp (maybe both) today I've pulled the remaining plaster board & rotten laths of the wall & plonked onto chipboard, it ain't pretty is it ?

anyone know how to crash these things (without the current installer code) ??

Hi all, Has anyone any experience of a Pacom 1058 control panel and possibly a manual? Its a right beast!.. and not behaving itself.
