Got a couple of local installers coming to give quotes over the next week, one of them was recommending the Visonic Powermax - what's the general consensus on this kit?,. looks like it's only 1 way wireless to me (only 2 way devices are the fobs) Both guys said that coverage should not be an issue down to the garage, guessing they will be bringing some test gear. January 30, 201511 yr comment_409540 Yes, Powermax is mostly one way with some two way bits. Is there a reason for wireless? You could (dependant on the installer) have a neatly installed hybrid system depending on the house. I would wire as much as possible and then 2 way for the rest. This would mean more cost but a better system in the end IMO.
