Hi Everyone, Can anyone tell me the voltage of the PSU required to power an Inspiration featurephone when using the Call Manager option? Thanks in Advance Kevin

Hi Just trying to make a customer happy. Have put the output of a 20gig i-pod into this panasonic piece of kit that I know nothing about The idea is it plays music when you put a caller on hold. This bit works OK but when not on hold plays the music through the speaker on the main phone. I think maybe it just needs programing as the other phones in the system are nice and quiet, but have not got the programing info or indeed any info on the phone system other than the name as in topic description. Any suggestions other that get a propper engineer in? LOL Best wishes Vince

Does anybody know how to enable caller ID on this system? We used to have it turned on but when we moved buildings it was wipred an re programed and since has not displayed the callers phone number. Any ideas guys? Thanks Peter

Could anybody please advise how to connect a 12 volt battery to my inspiration system, Could i do it without the battery backup unit, ie by connecting a 12 volt external battery. I have a 4 pin plug that fits the connector but do not know which pair i would use to connect a battery to. I would be most grateful for any advice on this matter. many thanks. steve.

Hi All I purchased a BT Inspiration pbx & 4 system phones from eBay as my wife is setting up a small business (with a limited funds). I have set it up at home to test out and by searching a number the posts on this site I seem to have it up and running on my home phone line. I have a LG GDK 162 Digital hybrid key telephone system. Something happened and the stations already assigned changed numbers, ex: Station 214 became 141. Question, how can i change it back to 214. Please know that the attendant stations didn't change: 101 and 102. I have 20 stations and 2 attendant stations . Stations specs: Attendant sta 101: Lg KD/E-24EXE (A). Attendant sta 102: Lg KD/E-36EXE (A). Other stations are: Lg GS-5140. Another question: does anyone have programming manual in Acrobat PDF Format? Thank you in advance.

I have a GDK 162 WTIB board in a GoldStar GDK-70+ system (which seems to be a cut down GDK 162 or 186, same backplane just 7 slots). The board was supplied with the system, but seems never to have been used - there was no base station attached. I have added a GDC 330b base and the handsets seem to see it, with the system off I can't start the registration process, with it on, I can. I have a manual for the handsets "GDK-162/100/FPII/20W & LDK-300 WOTS Wireless Terminal User Guide MODEL : GDC-335H (GAP)" but no programming manual for the system. hi, i have an lg gdk 16 in my office and have just had a new computer system installed which i need to link to this for caller display. the company has told me that i need to find out the programming procedure to get it to spit out data for real time, anyone one know how to do this or know someone that can!!! thanks xx

We are currently installing a BT Inspiration system at our Hospital Radio Station. We have connected the cables and powered up the system. The featurephones now display the following INSPIRATION British Telecom NET BTE 2.49/49 Comms OK But we can get no further that that, none of the buttons do anything. Hi. could someone help me reset my BT Inspiration telephone system that i have bought from ebay as the standard programming code of 1111 does not work, and i am unable to change any of the programmable features. many thanks for any help.

HELP! I'm a new member in need of advice. I attempted to fit a telephone interface intercom system to a customers house to work on his gate, to find that I could not get it to work as an extension to the above PBX, as the old faulty BT intercom unit did (extension 23). I was told by the Videx that I would have to connect the two cables coming from the interface unit to the'trunk code 2' terminals in the PBX, instead of extension 23. Can anybody tell me which terminals these are? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am more into security, all this PBX stuff is lost on me!

Hi, the company I work for have an old (2001) BT Inspiration PBX installed, however since the ownership changed hands the time has been stuck on standard winter time - this means that at 4pm everyday the answerphone switches itself on and routes all call though it automatically. Can anyone tell me how to change the time? I have been to system menu but it is asking for a 'password' however no-one here now was working here when the phones were installed. I know this is just a niggle, but it is a very annoying one when we have temps in ect...please can anyone help? Thanks, Irene
