Im currently using sipgate for my trunks but want to look at alternative as mobile isnt cheap. Who is everyine using and do you have unlimited plans etc? plus need multiple outgoing concurrnet calls say 5?

Got myself a Gigaset (was Siemens) IP300 VoIP Dect setup, and liking it so far. The only thing where it falls down is that whilst you can have 6 completely different SIP accounts, the 'advanced SIP settings' are GLOBAL! So where I have used sipgate for one of the lines as a trial, the slightly odd settings they use would probably upset other providers. That's a real shame as I could otherwise have got myself totally free out-of-area incoming lines with sipgate (i.e Bristol no's and Bath no's) However, sipgate basic won't transfer in so I couldn't keep my old number... Hi there - we are a small registered charity with a working BT Inspiration system 2 lines 4 extensions that has been working fine. Last week we lost the ability to programme the system phone. It's working on ext 20 and appears to do everything it should do except go into system programming. We cannot change the date etc and most of all get our caller display working again for line 1. The message coming back is 'programming refused' I have followed a manual procedure for resetting the phone (shorting out the battery) but this has not worked. Any other suggestions please? The system is working fine at present other than system programming. We would be grateful for any…

Hello can anyone help me? A hotel customer of mine had a SX50 until yesterday when he managed to flip the power switch on and off a few times not realing it was his phone system and has managed to kill the power supply. The problem i have now is that he had earth calling lines and while were waiting in vain for BT to change them to normal loop calling they have no outgoing calls, I have an inspiration that i tried today as a temp measure until he orders a new system and thought they were ok on earth calling lines but no matter what i tried I couldnt get it to return a dial tone. Does anyone know if they do actually support earth calling lines and if they do help me out wi…

Hi all Panasonic KX TEA 308 have installed 2 lines in it both on different Nos. Extension 104 needs to be able to access both lines. If line 1 is busy client can ring out on other No. I have this all working. Client wants to have line 1 as preffered outgoing line so if line 1 is not being used he will always ring out on line 1. My problem is i have set line 1 as preference for outgoing line for extension 104 but it always picks line 2. Even if set line to idle as if to pick up either line it always picks up line 2. Line 2 is only assigned to extension 104. Any help please thanks phil

Hi All I have installed another one of these but need to set up automated attendance. I have switched on in programming managed to record menu 1 for sales 2 for admin 3 for manager etc etc and all works fine except one thing. if no one answers call or i hang up call all the phones then ring for a couple of minutes even though caller has hung up. Any ideas. is this to do with DISA settings? is so what settings do i need for if caller hangs up it ends call all together. hope this makes sense thanks phil

Hi all Have installed one of these today but cant ring out. I think it might be because customer has a featureline. I didnt sell system only asked to install so didnt know it was featureline. Can this system work on feature line or does cust need to have converted back to direct line. any advice welcome thanks phil

Hi Everyone, I have the bt versatility system with voicemail cards and auto attendant etc. We are a recruitment agency with the need for an out-of-hours option on the auto attendant, allowing callers to choose option 1 to be diverted to the on-call consultant (a mobile). Is this possible with anolgue lines? We have four lines on the system. The company we bought it from said we have two options: to setup *121* from bt to divert all calls or change to isdn lines... can any1 help? Regards Ryan
