I need to mute the ringer on a BT Inspiration Featurephone so the ringer light will flash, but the ringer remains silent (for use in a studio environment)

To adjust the ring volume press the volume key while the phone is ringing.

Pretty sure you cannot mute the BT Inspiration Systemphone, you can set DND but then the call is not presented to the phone so line keys will flash but not the ringer light.

Few ideas:

(1) Buy a normal phone with a Ring Indicator light and mute function, perhaps combined with a little strobe flashing unit (audioline/doro etc).

(2) Never tried it, but open the phone up and manually try to disable the ringer chip.

(3) Have a Forward All Calls set to another (possibly unused/spare) extension, then program a key for that extension so any calls to it are alerted to your phone by flashing programmable key. Then you will need to program a key for Call Pickup (Group) - 68, you might also wish to consider putting these 2 extensions in their own seperate pickup group.

Not ideal and the ring indicator light will not flash but programmable key will flash, just press a single key to grab the call back from the other extension.
