Hi all, i have a BT inspiration PBX with 3 lines using 2 PSTN line cards. I am experiencing intermittent crackling on lines 1 & 2 from all telephones. I have swapped the PSTN cards and I have blown out the cobwebs with air. I have checked the wiring and all seems to be OK. BT have checked the lines and say that they are O.K.It is driving me mad as when the crackling occurs I can hardly hear the caller. Could someone please shed light on what the problem could be and how to solve it. I suspect it is with the main board but I just do not know. Regards and thanks in advance Branko

Have just acquired the bt revelation 1+6, and was promised the engineer manual before sale... Sadly has been delivered without!!! Can anyone help me by providing an eng manual for this? (to a lowly intruder/access/cctv engineer) or help & advice so I dont inadvertently blow it up!!! I have the owner's handbook already. How do you connect an electric door release? is it the terms marked DS? or does it need an expansion card? I assume that L1 means line 1 incoming and PF1 is powerfail? What is CN5 for (the only screw term connector on the board)? can you still acquire the voicemail module? all help much appreciated... TSS

We have an LG GDK phone system that appears to have failed today. I've removed the covers from it and all the LED's are flickering away okay but all of the handset displays are dead and we're not getting any dial tones. I've tried rebooting the exchange but it is still the same and obviously because there is no display on the phones I can't see what could be wrong. The phone is on an ISDN link and that is lit up okay, have tried dialing in but get the line error noise. Just wondered if anyone (Dave) has an ideas or can help out. If so please contact me and I'll give you my mobile number. Many thanks, Steve

I have this phone system at a site I work at and I've been asked to find out information about it and hopefully how to program it. Is there any specific information on how to manage this phone system? I need to know how to add/remove bars to outgoing lines, reprogram handset phone numbers (Exicom/Goldstar GSX 33) and any other information if available. Thanks in advance!

I have just purchased and installed the Voicemail module for my BT Inspiration system. I'm not a telecomm engineer by any sorts but simply powered down system, plugged it into slot 18 as instructed and powered back up. The featurephone now has various voicemail options showing on the menus which I assume means the module has been installed ok? Anyway, the only reason I have got this module is for recording personalised Courtesy Greetings but when I select "Record Greeting" it comes up "Voice Box Full" and doesn't allow me to record anything even though this is the first thing I have attempted to do. I have tried "Replay Greeting" and this has nothing but silence and h…

I've been trying everywhere, no-one's got a copy of the installation and programming manual for the KX-T616. I've got manuals, brochures, software and everything for pretty much all of the Panasonic systems, but not the KX-T616. Can anyone offer any assistance with this please?

Hi, Has anyone used the BT Revelation PBX with a Dialogic card for IVR functions. I am stuck trying to find the Dialogic TSP settings for this PBX. What I am after specifically is the DTMF key for the flash (Recall key) which in my knowledge is '!' and the duration. Many thanks
