Hi all, I recently moved ino a house with a Nexus 8 alarm installed. Ican set the alarm on my way out but I do not know how to set it when I'm inside the house. I do not know anything about alarms. This is the first housevim living in that has alarm installed. I'm afraid to do something that will trigger it falsely but I want to use it at night as a safety measure. Will be glad for suggestions that can help. There is no manual available. Thank you. Wendy.

Hi I have a gardtec 370 alarm system which has been trouble free for the past 10 years. Some of the numbers on the keypad are now getting difficult to press and i have been looking for an identical replacement without success. Can anyone give me details of were i might be able to get a replacement? If no identical replacements are available are any of the more modern keypads useable? Thanks Ian

I have a Scantronic 9448+ control panel controlling 3 infrared detectors ,2 windows contacts, and 2 entry/exit points. All the detectors are wired to the panel. The system is well over 10 years old. A few days ago, I switched on my bedroom lights and they failed to come on as if the bulb had blown. I then noticed all the upstairs lights were not working and realized that the circuit on the main electricity control panel had tripped. I checked and sure enough the main electricity panel circuit had tripped. When I flipped back up the main electric control circuit, all the tamper lights on the scantronic panel lit up to red, but neither the alarm outside bell nor interna…

ok ok ok lets see who can answer this! I installed a g2-12 alarm panel at my house a couple of years ago. Got it to text in the event of an alarm activation using a TAP centre number of 07860 980 480.(02 network). This has been good for a while but now seems to have almost died on me. Occaisonally i get the odd text but more no than a yeah. I like the fact it has zone i.d where as a speech dialler doesnt. I`ve called honeywell helpdesk. They washed their hands of it. (thats the spirit). Who can i call for any answers? Will it come back on? I know its a touch unreliable but most of the time its good.

Installed this alarm in my grandparents house when they first moved in. Everything was fine for first few months, then the transformer burnt out. Replaced it with a new one, and sure enough, few months later same happened. On third panel now and its happened again! Has anyone had this same trouble or know what the problem could be? The fuse inside the fuse spur doesn't blow and neither does the fuse inside the panel it self.. Luckily I know the lad down the wholesalers so its not costing us to replace the panel every time. The panel doesn't really get used that much only use when they are out most the day, so its not like its getting over used either. Any suggestions?
