Nexus 8 Alarm System

Featured Replies

Hi all, I recently moved ino a house with a Nexus 8 alarm installed. Ican set the alarm on my way out but I do not know how to set it when I'm inside the house.

I do not know anything about alarms. This is the first housevim living in that has alarm installed. I'm afraid to do something that will trigger it falsely but I want to use it at night as a safety measure.

Will be glad for suggestions that can help. There is no manual available.

Thank you.

Wendy.

It would need to be programmed to allow part set, so even if you knew the procedure it may not work as you require

As you have moved into a property that already has a working alarm system, I expect it has been programmed to do what you are asking.

There are 2x Part Set options with your Nexus 8 >

Part Set 1. Enter your code - press 1 > I would expect this option to be the one you need.

Part Set 2. Enter your code - press 2

Normally Part Set will isolate the upstairs, as you want.

Assuming it is an audible only system, turn it on as part Set 1 & go upstairs & have a good walk around, if it doesn't go off, job done.

Good luck, let us know if this works.

Someone told me I was ignorant and apathetic, I don't know what that means, nor do I care.
