02:06, 02-12-08 My first line of perimeter protection was tripped, buzzer sounds by the bed. Get up Outside light comes on I start to go downstairs Second line of protection operates as I'm going down the stairs, another (different) buzzer sounds Second and closer to the house, outside light comes on I'm now know it's not a false alarm, not that I was expecting it to be one, never had one in 10 years Go into the kitchen, open inner kitchen door to conservatory to come face to face with a brick ********* the other side of the glass We see each other, I shout ???? ??? and he runs off To cut a much longer story shorter, police called, arrived pretty damn quick, f…

Our company has a fair amount of engineers spread over the north of England , we all start work at 08:30 , however as some of them are nowhere near the office they just phone in on a morning to get their jobs . As i live locally i usually go in to the office in the morning to get my jobs that way , my boss says this is private mileage , and i would agree , except if i need to pick up parts i think this is a necessary trip to the office and doesn't fall in to the private mileage scenario, as i live fairly close to the office it is not deemed acceptable for me to ring in and get my jobs like the others do , so they get their parts posted out to them and pay no private m…

Hello great geniuses, Having problem triggering the HYL004 autodialler from scanny 9651. I have used 9651 op1 but noting happens when I set the alarm off or tamper I have checked the voltage +12v term to op1=no volts, op2 no volts, op3 ..12v The dialler needs switched neg ie 0v to trigger which works when I apply 0v on TR1 or TR2. I have measured the comms op as well with no neg voltage eighter. Is there a delay before it activates a neg to op1 or op2 as I don't know much about the scanny. I am trying to sort out this for a friend and any help would be most gratefully appreciated. tanx in advance freddy

We seem to be attracting a fair few members from Ecosse. I can think of at least a dozen in the last 12-months. How about a "meet & greet" somewhere central...say Falkirk area? I'll provide the venue, tea, coffee and biscuits FOC. Weekday, early morning, evening or weekend for 1-2 hrs? Good chance for us to network and possibly help each other with workloads, callouts or services we don't each offer etc. Just a thought & testing the water TBH, views welcome. Chris.

Have seen this but it's from the USA and only 110v: http://www.etronics.com/p-18267-mobi-70065...-doorphone.aspx Looks a bit flimbsy not ideal for a front gate. you chaps ever fitted any wireless Video intercoms. Hi Guys I have a site that has two Samsung SDZ-300's located in External housings. What I need is an engineering solution to the following. Originally the idea behind the cameras were to be triggered to zoom via presets on a GJD wireless opal trigger. The problem that I have is that there was never a solution fitted to the cameras to allow the zoom facility to work via the opals. I have attached a basic schematic to show current configuration. I know the following: 1. The SDZ-300 has preset capability via RS485 control 2. The SDZ-300 has zoom direct lens control but not via presets 3. The Wireless Opals Transmitters do not have local outputs 4. DVR is a DM DS2 …
