I've got a galaxy 60 panel which I have eng access for etc and installed myself in my scout campsite. I had to fix a problem the other night with it (dodgy connection to a RIO. I disconnected the panel from the mains and also battery backup as I had to make the cabling longer. When I re-connected everything the panel did it's usual self check thing and came up with G500 hardware and then showed the main banner and date/time. Ive been on a couple of installs recently where if i knock the power off to the panel for one reason or another the panel loses its programing. I thought they had NVM chips? Its a bit of a pain. Am i not doing something i should be?

Had a play with the new scantronic i-on today. Seems good. DDA compliant is a plus. Programmes up like the old 9600. But I'm not gonna be the first to rip one out foc (confident eh!) I know its only a couple of weeks since release but wondered if anyone has fitted one yet.

hi guys im looking for a new tv probably the lg 50pg6000 and im getting a lg surround sound system, i will also have a ps3 and virgin+ HD, im currently decorating my lounge so now is the perfect time to bury the cables in the wall? question is what cables do i need to link all this kit together? theres bound to be an expert on this sort of kit on this forum so any advice as always much appreciated! also does anyone on here have v+ HD just wondering if they have to install any additional cabling?

Today i went to an inlaws family friend to service there system which has not been touched since about 1998 (date on bat) so i was expecting to charge " mates rates " anyway but the shock when i got there. Texecom V8c as we know ungraded, pirs were medusas and bell box was a c type with no tamp or sab and no contacts.
