I've installed a Texecom 24 Premier Elite at home currently with 4 zones (all PIR) for the time being. After finishing all the wiring, configuration, walk/bell tests etc... I first properly set the alarm yesterday to make sure there were no faults in the system and went out for few hours. Returning the system disarmed fine with no errors in the logs. I set the system today and came back this evening to have alerts. I plugged into the board with wintex and after the pulled the logs: 7:09:33 - Close - Armed 12:48:30 - Tampers - Auxiliary Tamper Alarm From Control Panel 12:48:31 - Bell Active 12:48:31 - Alarm Active 16:03:33 - Fob 16:03:38 - Open - Disarm I…

Quick question, Does the G2, G3 range of panels have an option for bells on confirmed alarm? I can't find it in the menus, do I need to program the bellbox siren output to a different output type? Thanks

My texecom alarm goes on even if not armed. It happens when I open the door. What is the correct setting for a group that should only generate an alarm when an entry / exit timer has expired. And Only when the alarm is fully armed?

Hi, I installed a 9651en43 with a pyronix deltabellX, Tests fine during day, but I suspect on a night if mains fails the bell box light is dropping the voltage or some other fault and if running on battery it activates the bell. I need to meter the voltage on the bell trigger - but not sure what terminals to test. Im guessing bell trigger but which other terminal? Also the panel doesn't seem to detect when mains voltage fails and it moves onto backup battery nothing displayed, lit or logged when mains fails on the 9943 panel. Also the mains healthy light on panel has never illuminated but has been running for weeks now so its got mains power Any help woul…

Hi all, Need a little help and confirmation of the wiring connections to the Accenta G4 Panel and Sounder. The sounder is a Texecom Flashguard Minn-XW which I have to install internally due to conditions of placing external sounders on the Flat building. I originally had an Odyssey 3E which was working fine. The fault I am getting is 'Tamper Fault Lockout' on the LCD keypad. I have wired the Accenta G4 panel for the Sounder as follows : YELLOW connected to marked minus '-' on STROBE GREEN connected to ‘T’ BLACK connected to ‘A’ (12v) RED connected to ‘D’ (positive) WHITE connected to ‘B’ (negative) On the Sounder instructions it states : Pa…

Hello all. I'm hoping that you can help me with a choice of detector for a stairway. What I am looking for ideally is something that is quite small and that will vertically emit either a single or curtain beam across a standard (closed) domestic stairway. I have thought about using a standard PIR with a curtain beam lens but would ideally want something a bit smaller / neater with a flatter profile that would make it much less likely to come into contact with anyone (particularly children) when using the stairway. It has to be hard wired and its only purpose would be to trigger the entry / exit timer when coming downstairs (usually in the morning) to allo…

I've been having a look about for a GSM autodialler to connect to an Accenta G4 panel. I don't have a PSTN line so it has to be GSM. Can anyone reccomend one? I only need basic features, as in I want to receive an alert either voice or SMS that the alarm has triggered. I'm not to fussed about doing any remote commands. I was looking at this: http://gsm-activate.co.uk/products/gsm-autodialer/ But I'm not sure! !!

I'm having a few problems with a new Accenta G4 kit. Everything is wired up but on power up I got a Tamper fault alert on the RKD. I looped all 3 tamper circuits and removed them one by one and it turns out that it's the tamper circuit for the siren that is causing the problem. When I loop it at the panel all is ok. I have wired like this: STROBE- to STB- (Yellow core) B- to Trig- (Black core) A- to Hold Off (Green core) D+ to Hold Off + (Red core) T- to RTN- (White core) I have checked that the lid has pressed down on the tamper switch on the siren- I heard the click and then screwed it up, pressing the lid does not make a click, so I'm pretty sure it's press…

Newly installed Large size Accenta G4 with LCD RKP with 7Ah backup battery. Everything is working fine off the backup battery, PIR's, shock sensors, door contact etc. apart from the mains power. The mains red LED on the panel and RKP are not lit. There is power going into the panel on the fused side and all the fuses look good. I thought the panel was faulty so took it back and got a replacement but the same identical thing is happening. I thought it maybe a faulty power supply unit in the panel. Is there a problem with the mains supply ? It is showing 'Live' on a live tester ! It's driving me crazy and can't seem to work out the problem. Is there something I have…

Hey Guys, I have a few newb questions. Firstly,do I only need to put resistors at each sensor (EOL setup)? I’ve read the manual, but it doesn’t specify this… (I’m about to use a Satel Versa 10 panel.) Or is there other places in an alarm system where resistors should be put? Am I right thinking I need 1 resistor, in series, at the furthest part from the panel (for example in the housing of each sensor)? Which wire should have the resistance? (The Alarm one, in this case it’s called „NC&C”(?) NC&C both signyfy that no R is needed don't they? ) If it’s a combined sensor (PIR & glass breaking) then do both NC&C inputs need a resistance added at t…

Afternoon, I am a new member to this site, but I have followed it for ages. My house has a menvier TS900 installed with a node (10 zones) When I moved in, the external garage had no alarm so I went ahead and purchased a G2-12 and a MK7 keypad. The G2-12 was easy to install and program for a professional panel. It works very well (I'm an audio engineer and know my electronics very well). I have decided that its time to upgrade the TS900 and install something that's more future proof and not discontinued, I'd want the new panel to cover the house AND garage through the use of groups, but I have a few concerns and questions. I already know the workflow of the g…

Hi, I am in need of some help with the comip and wintex on my new Texecom Elite Premier 24 I have installed myself. I have got it all working, with internal wired expander, wireless expander, dialler and 2 keypads and all good. However I want to get all the options tweeked properly and it is obviously much easier via wintex. I also want to be able to use the mobile app as well. I can ping the panel, and can access the panel's holding webpage so it is clearly connected and I have the right IP address for it. However neither my PC running wintex nor my mobile via the app can connect (which I think rules out any PC based firewall issues) If I enter the wrong IP …
