I've been going through catalogues and I found these two features but they aren't explained anywhere.
 

 

  • alarm latch feature
  • pre-alarm feature

Can somebody explain to me what they mean? :) They were mentioned as features of PIRs.

Where does it say preAlarm?

I thought prealarm was only on smokes?

Must be 20 years since I was last latching PIR's. Good days though.

I'm having a guess at the 'pre-alarm' feature is a short LED flash for each pulse/beam before full alarm.  Which is pointless as there'll be no one to see it.

@Yeti: see second post, click the upper link then on the site here is a list of fetures. The third mentioned feture is pre alarm.

I still think this is satel breaking into u.k market they do try and sell here I believe, if it isn't , it's not a bad way to keep the satel links up instead of being blatant lol

why not just ask the rep from satel?

They seem to have a tech support manuals etc etc

Could be wrong of course I am tsi affected
