Hate to be pedantic. But the Sidewinder is a short range air-to-air missile, thus cannot be fired against ground targets. And it's IR guided not radar. And has someone has already pointed out the threat suppression system on fighter aircraft cannot automatically release ordnance, that would just be silly!

It is an hilarious story though.
