  1. Well put up signs saying your recording audio and see what happens. The fact that its not admissible in court would do it for me. What about "The ICO doesn't like audio recording, you also have privacy issues recording audio" News of the world was sued for recording peoples conversations without their knowledge. Good luck with that
  2. I think youll find thats Stu's Mine just says "Welcome to Jamaica and have a nice day"
  3. When someone down votes a post its because they dont like whats written or they disagree
  4. Disagreeing with someone isnt harassment, sending unwanted dick pictures is
  5. The ICO doesnt like audio recording, you also have privacy issues recording audio, plus it would probably render the CCTV evidence as not admissible in court due to the signage not providing the correct warnings
  6. LOL Your not in Hampshre Surrey or London either
  7. He doesnt say that? I just wonder if he has diagnosed the fault correctly nobody asked
  8. Nah he would struggle to nick any of mine, I dont have customers that about every penny I noticed though, I think its because he has realised Risco are crap Texecom have also let him down, he knows what I use and never heres me complaining. All the other shaved monkeys on FB have told him how good they are. I was tempted to say we've stopped using them since the incident with the helicopter crash but I dont think it would do me any good
  9. Whats wrong with the keypad?
  10. If you follow the fb forums there are plenty of shaved chimps asking for engineer codes for this co or that.It is good practice to change the codes I dont think the inspectorates care (even though they should) I have thought long and hard about using fobs as engineer codes all progged with the same number, It is a pain if a fob is lost its also a pain if an engineer leaves and doesnt give it back, but its a lot harder for anyone to get your engineer code
  11. Im guessing it was one of the 12v circuits shorting? but its just a guess
  12. Use the Virgin SMTP settings it seems to work with all email addresses
  13. As a dog owner myself I can vouch that having your alarm serviced regularly by a professional company is by far more cost effective
  14. Take everything out of the 12v and put it back one by one until you find which cable is causing it
  15. Hi Tracey Welcome to the forum. That panel is probably DIY and it is quite old, the default user code is ##REMOVED## if that doesn t work then you need to get a company in to default it if you can find someone that will support that panel now. It is likely that it hasnt been serviced in a while and so its best to get someone to look at it anyway, if you start using it and it goes faulty it can allsorts of problems with your new neighbors
  16. I dont think he needs it anymore this is a 11 year old thread
  17. What happens when you remove the hold off? If the bell doesnt sound then its a faulty bell, if it does, then the next thing to try is put the trigger wire to 0v if it rings then its not the cable.
  18. Hi and welcome Please familiarise yourself with the rules before posting https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/guidelines/
  19. Knackered battery, and probably knackered charging circuit
  20. Yep that would have done it, its tried to charge your charging circuit. You should have split the load and used the additional PSU to power the detection and just common up the ov
