You have a pc connected to the internet. So long as you use precautions such as a vlan you will be fine

I have every respect for him that he is trying to learn off his own back, but the regs are there for a reason (Mainly Safety) and if he is learning how to do stuff then he should find out how to do it properly. Otherwise he will be just like those other idiots out there that saw a picture of a burglar alarm and now think they are an experienced installer. Mains should be segregated from low voltage cables, not just for safety but to stop ac noise getting onto the low voltage circuits. If you dont point these things out how is somebody supposed to learn.
-
Ring
So its completely mains, so why have you used Fire tough cable to everything apart from the mains?
-
Ring
So is the whole system mains? Even so, flex out the back of a socket is still very poor
-
Ring
What about the call point?
-
Ring
I cant believe that nobody has mentioned that the mains is A in flex and B run in the same containment as the low voltage.

I purchased one of the doorbells when they first came out. It didn't work very well and after a day a fully charged doorbell was down to 37% battery, so I didn't believe their unbelievable two years between charging boast Footage here https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2019/12/12/she-installed-ring-camera-her-childrens-room-peace-mind-hacker-accessed-it-harassed-her-year-old-daughter/?fbclid=IwAR0QdY01OE-usvu6N3qe4HacNMvtM9GAh1T6ertq7-mEGIb0faJcT92rSgs
