  1. Told you Good job and thanks for updating
  2. Another IT bod had one of those his cable wouldn't work I told him it's the face plate IPC tester showed him what his unit wouldn't
  3. I came across something like this , was usually the connector or the tester itself even though the connections had be redone , I did them myself and it worked fine Take the connectors off and test the pairs with a meter if it's trouble replacing cable that might not need replacing
  4. What happens when you mother has to press it ?
  5. I already understood that , these guys are alarm professionals they don't understand house bashing talk
  6. And it's forum banter you can't escape from See you got Asian software aswell
  7. So get another installer because seems you willing to pay and want important security , which clearly you won't be able to fix
  8. You would struggle to reach me having the engineer code and asking me to fix it
  9. Ok cool , I haven't seen that or more like while bashing didn't notice Good info ?
  10. Not sure I get you, if it's final door there is no exit time ? Just waits for door to open and close
  11. Yes So then get new engineer or new system some how
  12. If you get into engineers , do your self a favour don't click yes to "default" ........ Yes dude one panel I still don't mind going out to fix , I had to use the zero tho
  13. ADT don't lock there panels , or I haven't seen they do , so of you can work it out then yes you can default And then take 6months- a year getting it back to how it should work Shouldn't matter if security isn't that important
  14. You need this to be other way around from James said if it's convenient for door to be open , change it from timed to final set instead , if having door open until you leave close door then it sets
  15. I can't see how changing from final door to timed would make a difference If it's intermittent I would change the door contact When you set via the app , you unsetting from keypad when you enter ?
  16. And have idea to switch to galaxy 60 for installs yes? Or dimension?
  17. So your going to try a dimension ? Instead of galaxy 60 for your installs ? Where you buying the galaxy 60 Thought you signed up with orisec? And used euro mini?
  18. Set b and see if it arms example downstairs , as it may already be done These systems like the 9651 are often pushed and pushed by diyer until they lose all the programming and eventually require and engineer anyway The system probably needs servicing and local engineer should be able to do it easily But if an alarm is important get something more up-to-date or scrap it and get a dog
  19. Lol ok thought you meant on installs, you mean for shed?
  20. Illegal extension ? Told you your Asian
  21. Switch to galaxy from what? And to which galaxy?
  22. Just stick to the 8.1 and Peter back it up on disc
  23. You need engineer access to switch off the coms , there's a few trade DIY visonic experts here , they may comment soon
  24. You mean it's alerting you? Or on zone status when checking before setting? Don't about this panel ,but the latter point galaxy also shows tamper when spare but will set as normal
  25. Depends on there mood and what you done , police aren't around much anyway, but they do check docs thoroughly on insurance , plenty of traps setup lol
