  1. 0.8v where? Cable fault? Do they share a cable?
  2. Not yet, but they just got hunters in Slough to start selling the hkc gear it's on there website for trade only no pricing Problem around this area is the £300 brigade will buy it and sell onto the public, total lunatics working for a cheap day rate Maybe just maybe, if they sell enough to trade they won't go with Joe public
  3. Getting to end solution
  4. You could in such and old system add a remote if the facility or local engineer is able to do it , if it has a key switch , with a few circuits added on
  5. Your in crack Cheaper to add wireless zones to house 20m doesn't mean anything , may I suggest you read your requests lol and don't be sensitive not trying to be smarty lol
  6. Ok fair enough fraggle , so your not interested in adding a wireless zones to the garage which maybe cheaper on longer run, if system is maintained as you say will be not much more expensive on service

  13. If the panel supports line fail to a programmed output or has pins you could have a gsm module that will also ping you that line has failed but it will ping every time Think about costs , if you paid a monitoring company to do all this they would notify you anyway But there are monthly costs from that way some cheap some expensive It maybe your a enthusiastic diyer then I recommend you just do what your doing Problem will be in finding a cheap enough contract SIM like max £5 per month unlimited sms Ps James I reckon is pointing to having a monitoring station and maintainer
  14. If you want both doesn't make sense from one device and doesn't make sense no gsm
  15. Don't know but open tap to me works out expensive What alarm.panel you using again?
  16. Just try one at a time the dialler can call you direct if you programme your number in phone number one as an example Or just try the open tap details to send you an SMS via there site but leave your number out if that's what you want I still think if you want just a general sms keep the dialler as a dialling unit and get another game unit to send the SMS it will be cheaper than open tap There are some units that will dial and SMS and will choose depending on what is available ie if you had a line fail the SMS would send or vice versa
