Hi all, I’m bringing back into service a Galaxy Dimension GD-96 (firmware V6.70) in a house that was renovated 12 years ago. Running a cable to every detector wasn’t possible, so V-Plex (2-wire) was chosen – back then it was the only 2-wire option. It was never commissioned, and now I need to make it work. Setup V-Plex Interface C090, firmware V1.01 (shows as RIO 202-205 on line 2), loop OK at ~10.3 V. Devices: 4191SN contacts, DT7500SN, IS2500SN-type PIRs (4 DIP switches, no microwave), FG-1625SN glassbreaks. What works 4191SN contacts: zone opens/closes correctly. All devices learn fine (serial captured when the PIR goes red or a door opens). Tamper from DT7500SN and FG-1625SN reaches the panel (zone shows open-circuit tamper when the cover is removed). What doesn’t DT7500SN / IS2500SN: the alarm never reaches the panel – zone always “closed”, nothing in the log, nothing in Walk Test (31), not even with the system set. Sensor LEDs work normally. Tried loop 1 and 2, fast response, a different unit. IS2500SN-type PIR: zone permanently shows open-circuit tamper even with the cover closed. FG-1625SN: with the FG-701 the detector enters test mode (green LED), but I haven’t managed to trigger a real alarm (no red LED) without risking the glass, so I don’t know yet if its alarm would pass. Questions Is there a newer firmware for the C090 than V1.01, and how is it updated (chip swap?) Are the “Smart” V-Plex sensors (DT7500SN, IS2500SN) supported by the C090 at all? Which V-Plex PIRs are known to work with the C090? (I’ve ordered two older Ademco 4278EX-SN to test.) Any tip to test an FG-1625SN alarm safely? Thanks in advance for any help.
