You don't have to unless they give you trouble , although it's probably more of DIY product now with it's problems Just wire them double pole or correct resistors in place latter best way to go

Does that app itself allow SMS? I assume it's a free service he is using ? If your going to pay for an extra SIM with that many alerts it's pointless, cheaper to get better monitoring and have that included
