have got a accord xpc just wondering if any one can help it arms and disarms fine untill the alarm is fully set then the display goes blank and enter the code beeps as it accepted it but then goes to a contant beep and bell dont turn off untill it depowerd completely then it acceps it please help

In regard to the veritas 8 panel. i have been asked by a customer to reset the panel to factory settings as they have moved in to a new house and they dont have the code to set/unset the system. As per usual the previous owners didnt leave one and have not left any contact details. Can someone please email me the manual with the factory reset please. sparkypaul

:!: Im a radio amateur. I have an anoying Scantronic 9800 which is causing great interference to my reception of 3.5Mhz and 1.8Mhz amateur radio. I wonder does anyone know if there is a newer vesion of the control pannel that will work with my exsisting keypad? Im hoping there will be a more versatile model that maybe has a faster clock processor so as to eliminate the problem I have. It is the clock data bus I can hear on my radio as the sound changes when activating the keypad on the alsrm etc. thanks dominic@derby-radio.co.uk

I have been living in my house 2 and a half years. There was a Veritas 8 alarm fitted but the previous owners advised it went off a lot so had disconnected it. Following a recent power cut and somebody turning on the mains switch next to the alarm it is now re-activated and went off. I am in possession of both the user and installation manuals but the keypad is non receptive to any of the codes I enter (e.g. attempting to re-load factory settings). I want to deactivate the alarm completely as it is old and possibly faulty - will removing the battery and turning off the mains do this (aside from the 15 mins of alarm) or is there another way?

well hello there !. i had a veritas 8c fitted about 3-4 years ago with no problems.only now the bloody thing keeps going off without any intruder.3rd light from left is illuminated.the real bummer is i cant find the manual to troubleshoot it.would it be possible to send my it in an e mail ?.or tell me where i can send for one.thanx.roy.HELP ME OBI-WAN.....YOUR MY ONLY HOPE !.

Hello there, i`m just inquiring as to wether the above mentioned alarm from ademco microtech is usable without the phone line connected as an unmonitored local alarm? The alarm was fitted by //.National Installer.// and i have all the operations/Installations and user manuals, but it would save me no end of time if you guys could just say wether it is or isn`t possible. I`ve tried a factory reset with * and # pressed, although i`m showing a tamper alarm and a PA which i assume is panic. I haven`t dropped the mains power to the box in the shed yet, as i`m worried the bell will go off and having just moved in don`t want to upset neighbours just yet. So can i do it? is …

I'm replacing an Optima XM with a new G3 panel. Are there any reasons why I should not fit wire links to un-used zones, rather than setting them all to "disabled". - I just dont trust micro-processors!

Hi, I have recently moved house and in the house we have got a Veritas Alarm System installed. Unfortunatley the lady that I bought the house off only left me the code & no instruction manual. I obviously would like to get hold of a manual but my first dilema is that I don't know what type of Veritas alarm it is. How can I find this out?
