Trade Control Panels

Has anyone using this great panel(NOT), come across weird events in the log. Was displaying, Cameras and Bandits reset. I know the system can be intergrated but this panel isn't. If anybody has some insight would be much appreicated.

Can dualcom go on a 490X. Im guessing not as its not got the outputs. dudes Just answered me own question, looked in the catalogue along the panel reference sheet 'redcare capable' all the panels except 490X, 480 and the wisdom are capable via a stu adapter. There we go then

Have taken over a British gas install. On testing, panel sounds when smokie sounds and stops when smokie stops but no event in panel memory. Is this normal for a DSC?

We keep having problems and need to ascertain if it is the PC or programme. When we load the programme for remote dial in sometimes only the frontshell part loads up and the commserver is missing. Anyone else had an issue?

Got a small system coming up, which the customer would prefer I spec wireless, after seeing the place I would agree it's going to be ball-ache to cable, no false ceilings and everywhere has just been decorated. Upstairs floors cant be pulled as they have been tiled. They don't want any trunking anywhere either. (Typical moon on a stick client). Alrite guys we had a takeover today no problems everything ok but one of the engineers reported back that on the keypad it's displaying <<unset >> Test fail we don't deal with the gardtec stuff so does anyone know what this means and how we can get rid of it. Thanks Guys

Hi all been called out to a job to takeover a menvier fitted by portcullis security, can anybody pm me the eng code as its a large job with no cct list and i dont fancy trying to reprogram. Thanks

I am just being blind and stupid or is there no option to change the bottom line text on the keypad. I have read the manual through and through but cant see it any where. Just want to remove the 9651 and put company name in. Thanx Chris

anyone ever heard of this panel needing modifying?

i am in the process of a takeover and need to identify a panel before opening it up. the kepad is an lcd and has keys 1 to 9 with yes on bottom left and no on bottom right and on the right hand from top to bottom it has 4 buttons a b c d . the flap is also hinged from the right. thanks Martin forgot to say there are also 5 leds on the left hand side : - alert, alarm, tamper, fault and unset

New install. Quite a long network but within menviers recommendations...Approx 900 meters. 15 devices connected to network mixture of msnodes ans mspsu,s. We have designed this install to the book. have no more that 70 meters between any nodes. Used good quality screened 8 core duct grade external cable. Doubled up pos and neg where possible. All screens are segregated from mains earth except at control panel. All nodes have over 12Volts. Have correctly isolated +12v between psu,s...
