Hi guys its been a while since my last confession but it seems I could do with some help, I dont see much intruder these days. I was given one of these Texecom Premier Elite AMDT to replace a defective Honeywell DT, the existing DT is connected to a Menvier panel. Am I right in thinking that these detectors can only be used in a EOL situation? I couldnt see how you could connect them as just an old traditional 2 loop alarm and tamper circuit.

Hi, Newbie, but competent DIYer here. I've just added a couple of extra zones to my Gardtec 300, and managed to program them, not the most user friendly input method though. I've managed to lose the bolt/screw that holds the lid/door closed. I've got it taped closed for now, but it's sure to give out at 3 in the morning. Does anyone know the size or type of this bolt? Thanks in advance!

  8. I have a customer who has Paxton Access System and a separate Videofied alarm with Camera Sensor on Front Door. The videofied sensor was added because people are bumping the mag locks and sleeping in the communal hallway after a night in pub. It is a care home so residents quite distressed to find drunk Guy in hallway. Problem is they need access for carers etc in night which is creating false alarms on videofied system. Anyone know how to link videofied system to Paxton so it could be disarmed? Also can it be swarmed on door close?

  9. Has anyone integrated Hik Vision IP cameras using the pyronix app? If so does it work well?

  10. Hi All, i recently purchased my first first house and the burglar alarm is not working. It’s a Veritas 8c control panel with 7 PIR motion sensors and a few door contacts and an outside alarm and light box. Something on the panel seems to have blown, there are black burn marks on the inside of the casing. Now my dilemma is to just buy a replacement panel (same model) and wire that in and let it be.. or upgrade the panel and eventually upgrade the sensors over time. if I was to upgrade, I would like something fairly modern, maybe that I can control from my phone or receive notifications on when it goes off. Home automation wo…

  12. hello I have the above alarm all working fine except for the doorbell which is the Exit Terminate button in day mode. it’s says in the user manual, quote:Turning the Chime On/OffYour system may be programmed so that a chime tone sounds whenever certain doors are opened while the system is unset. If your system has an Exit Terminate button, then it will act as a door bell while Chime is on. To turn Chime on or off:1. Key in your access code. The display shows "_ _ "2. Press 7 followed by y (Clear).I have tried this and it doesn’t work, is there a programming feature in E mode that I’m missing?...I’ve just re set the whole system in E mode and added the chime function to zo…
