I just wonder why topics keep getting closed so quickly. Moderators should be there to moderate the board. It's like having a conversation for some-one to say "stop no more speaking". Yes if the topic is getting out of hand or abusive, but they seem to be getting ended for no reason. I think it will drive away people from the boards IMHO.

For those of you who are the boss/manager of your companies i would like to ask, if you were sending an engineer out to a job that was on an isolated site with no permanant members of staff and the potential risk of chlorine gas and phosphuric acid would you allow for two men on that site. are there any legal requirement that my employer should be adhering to? For your information staff employed by the owner of the site are required to work in pairs but as a subcontractor my employer do not seem to take any notice of this and my wife is concerned about my safety

Help. I am in a dilemma. I will shortly have to decide whether I want to be a trade area moderator or public area mod... and I really cannot decide. I would therefore welcome your view. How do you see me... Where do you think I am more suited or would do the better job.... ... Whatever you thoughts, I would welcome a PM from you. ... but please by PM, not posts.
