There is a passworded section of this site for Fire that some of us are not allowed access to, surely Trade FULL Members are allowed access to Intruder, how does that work?

full intruder trade can use fire i have been told so its visa versa i assume.

Just some don't take full advantage of all the facilities

Yes , we do fire too and when i asked was told to apply for status there. But always too busy to remember.

I do everything, Intruder, Access,CCTV, Fire, a bit of networking etc.etc.

I admit give me an addressable system and I want to run, but fault diagnosis on conventional is no harder than intruder.

However the way some of us learn more is by reading other peoples experiences on here, if we're not allowed access to read those things, how can we improve?

I'm glad I'm not alone OH, its been bugging me for ages as it happens.

If you can verify you are an active fire engineer apply to one of the fire mods, like 'Fire Commissioning Engineer' for access.

The fire area is run a bit differently to the trade area. The fire guys behave much better .... You never get any pointless, heated stuff in there..... but it is very useful, and bags of knowledge.
