  12. Evening all, Just found out I've been on the site since 2012 but never used it till now. I need some solid advice from yourselves on upgrading an old 16ch DVR to an all singing all dancing replacement with a quality app for remote viewing, 24ch minimum but 32ch if 24ch not an option. The quote received today for a 32ch was extortionate and will not go down well with my client. This DVR upgrade is for the existing 16 analogue cameras but I would like to provide space for future expansion. Any experience on previous kit used or suppliers would be much appreciated. Markb

Just signed up. My back ground started as an electrician, as soon as my time was out I started with AFA Minerva on fire, went to intruder then the high security division. Many moons later i went self employed and blagged a 3 year jaunt all over east and western europe installing CCTV and access control. These days I still install and service but the bread and butter is earned by working on the high voltage distribution network in central London. Laters
