HI everyone. I have been in the security industry for the past 10 plus years. I am researching into starting up on my own so thought I would sign up here in the hope that people would be kind enough to offer some advice as well as me share some advice with others if I can. Cheers!

Hi my names Dan, I'm 22 and from Plymouth. I recently started my own security company, I left a local firm after 6 years as they had gone from being a small family run business into a large money grabbing firm, that would question anything to do with money, and would treat you as just another number on their database. Be nice to hear from anyone else who has started their own business and how you went around building your customer base and how you promoted the business? Ive had a really good start to the year, but there is the every now and again slow week. Look forward to hearing back from you guys!

Hello and thank you for accepting me, Hopefully someone can help me, I am having problems with my optima compact alarm, the alarm system keeps going off at random times, mostly in the middle of the night waking us and most of our neighbours up, it has no set pattern and goes off even when not set, can anyone advise me what the problem maybe please

Suppose i best introduce myself haven't i Being from Manchester its safe to say i have come across the ADE panels wired on positive return on one piece of 8 core cable, blew my mind at first lol. Never knew a carpet fitter could take a whole system out in one go haha and as for servicing of the alarms, well wouldn't want to be in Oldham just after a power cut that's for sure
