    It maybe your phone line converter. If it has comms in the queue it will keep retrying. dissing is disconnecting if you have dissed one of the legs then its not the device hogging the line. When you say engaged what do you mean, I took it to mean it was dialling etc?

    if you use home3 / home4 numbers iirc these will dial a phone there are 4 different tones depending on the alarm event

    I'm fairly sure a 16+ can dial directly a mobile etc. It's been a few years since I've worked on a 16+ though. I'll check a manual when i get to a pc

    is the shutter an auto close one? I would also say it shouldnt be toggle as it will stay active until a valid card is presented or rte is pressed

    the from alarm pair is an open close clean switch to show the paxton if its armed or not. the to pair will go to a zone programmed as keyswitch momentary

    not obliged to, Op you should crash and program as you see fit to the clients requirements. Never take on old programming who knows what was the requirements then.
