As norm said, link out all safety and see if it closes, if it does bell out each pair until you find the open circuit.
As James, new battery at that age. If that does not clear the fault then you can try the monitor hardware, think its a local setting, not sure its in a wintex menu.
No of course, but I assume the OP is not brain dead. This has happened to me more than once after swapping a battery after a long mains fail. Tech know about the issue.
Maybe not. The prem has a bit of a bug, go into 'Monitor Hardware' and turn off Battery monitoring and exit engineer, it should now be clear of the fault. Now enter engineer and turn battery monitoring back on. Should work.
Daft however you look at it IMO. ie. selling gear to public or installing equipment you don't support.
Or it could be a pro company with coms contract and customer is after a free reset on here we would never know.
We've got 2, but obviously they don't work too well
