Just changed phone again ( company one ) another Nokia 6300. Done the usual updates with Nokia and decided the 512 micro SD was too small. So Carphone Warehouse and a 4 gig sd card. Phone will not accept it, needs formatting. Put it into card reader and was write protected, checked other sd`s I have and they were FAT not FAT32. changed that and now format card and phone will still not accept it. Have I missed something or is the card too much for the phone? Also copied 512 card supplied onto 4gig one to same avail.

When fitting the flush mount texecom premier keypads has anyone had issues with sticky keys. We have not fitted a lot of the flush mount keypads but do have issues with sticky button, issue is that we have just sold a domestic system with five flush mount keypads and don't need issues with them. Maybe the design has changed ? Does the white flush mount look good or not ? does it look cheap ? I went out to a site the other day, put it in engineers and found the menu scrolling down uncontrollably. All

I am about to leave the house in about 15 mins to drive to Manchester and start a 32 hour install working nights due to no access in the day while the building is open and running. Well not to worry another set of jelly mold boxes bite the dust Some chance of some sleep tomorrow, i know the phone will be ringing all day.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7843206.stm This is so silly, on average I have to delete a swipe/prox card once a week for lost ones. Then use the CCTV to identify the person using the card. Some have been real intruders, even worse disgruntled office workers trying to get "data" from employers. I may have mentioned this before, but these people do know there are cameras. I digress, just some advise. Keep valuables in multi occupancy offices out of sight or locked up. Challenge any visitor unknown or not displaying a visitors pass. Do not just press the button because you thought it was the sandwich man. This is for your own safety and security, plus it is your…

Hi all, We've recently taken over maintenance of a Lenel integrated access and cctv system installed by another company, and as anyone who's farmiliar with this kit will know, it's a bit of a task to get your head around to say the least. Can't seem to find any installer information or manuals anywhere, would anyone possibly be able to help with this? ~Lee

Sure plenty of advice must be around from members on here. Thought I'd give first tip. Never put your name & address on luggage, put mobile number or contact number eg keyholders. Reason: "people" will know you're away. (from those who got broken into & we fitted alarm after - so could say 1st tip fit an alarm ) (loads of other tips, sure others could push the point home with customer experiences).

We are thinking of fitting document boxes to all commercial jobs. What do you lot do? We already fit one if its a big job (say over 70 zones) but on smaller jobs we give the customer a folder with all the info inside. But a year or two latter you can never find the folder as customer has lost it etc. What about them fire proof things Initial use, any good?
