Good to know. Not heard any negatives about them from anyone. The only reason we don't use them is a) we have our own arc and b) the stuff we need to give out (we aren't cat2 yet) we want to use an arc with MAS just for the familiarity. If they had MAS, they would be 1st choice.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

The path indication is something we requested of MCS (The suppliers of the software package used by us and EMCS) several years ago (First call on the issue of poorly indicated path was from 2005).

 

It is not going to be added to the WAP server application as they are instead developing a dedicated Android / iPhone application to take its place with much better functionality.  As for a timeline on that...Late 2013 would probably be optimistic

Got an email from EMCS today. First people that bothered to get back to me. Whilst I can appreciate many ARCs would just ignore a sole-trader non-approved alarm company, EMCS seem very polite so far and the prices feel pretty keen - although thats just a gut feeling, because of course I've never used monitoring before!

 

I'm sure I'll have no reason to go elsewhere if, and when, I get SSAIB.
