  1. Hi we have a lockdown solution that not only sounds sounders around the school it works with an app. It can be activated from the app so from a smart phone and it will alert everyone in the school that has the app on their phone. It tells you not only that there is an intruder, but where on the grounds that intruder is. We have already installed this system in several schools and colleges. https://www.wakefield-security.co.uk/commercial-security/security-systems-for-schools-colleges-and-universities/critical-incident-management/
  2. Any modern panel that you can lay your hands on. I wouldnt bother with a dialler though they will all be obsolete by 2025
  3. You cant your installer has to do it, the only other way is to use the same ssd and password as your old router
  4. We post defaulting details in the public forum all of a sudden that cheapo alarm system you have becomes worthless, because any burglars reading this will know how to default it. Also, ADT have different engineer codes for different areas, even if we could give you an installer code its likely it wont work, you purchased it on ebay, the chances are it wont have come out of a site in the same town the vendor sold it from. You need the postcode of the house it was originally installed in and an engineer that works for that particular branch, chances of that happening is about 500/1
  5. I think the display gives the game away as to whats wrong here
  6. Hi Steve Welcome Many panels can do this, but if you need it to be on Police response this could be a problem. The other thing you may not have thought about is when you are closed for bank holidays or Christmas etc you do not want a system to disarm when you are not going to be there.
  7. QFA meter to see if you have 12vdc
  8. try setting it and unsettling it again
  9. Just to add if you have a service contract on the system, then you may be in breach of the contract

  13. Yep lack of common sense, I now understand what my auditor was coming from when he asked if my staff had recieved training on the stuff kept under the sink at work. Theres me thinking everyone knows not to drink or rub that shit over your nuts, but it would seem not everyone has common sense.
  14. Depends on what you want, We use Risco Nova but I think they are trade only, Texe Sounders are good quality, swerve Pyronix the plastic is thin.
  15. Its the battery that kills them. So without a battery is fin, but when you replace the sounder you will need a battery, otherwise you wont be popular in a power cut.
  16. Hi Mike any decent external sounder will replace it, was the system decommissioned when you were not using it?
  17. Its not that simple, we paid just under £1.5k to get our transfered to our new database
