Scantronic 9651 - Lid Tamper - Inactive Fault
Long shot does this have a back tamper switch fitted ,maybe someone modified it or something and it isn't making contact I don't understand how your exiting engineer mode , so maybe there's an extra switch h somewhere programmed on to a zone or something Don't worry an expert will turn up soon lol

Scantronic 9651 - Lid Tamper - Inactive Fault
Don't know dude I am guessing now a little , But did you saying pushing button activates on walk test , meaning the lid? If so can you stretch the spring a little to make sure panel kind is closing it ?

Scantronic 9651 - Lid Tamper - Inactive Fault
Then I would say check your other detectors I did one two weeks ago battery change still showed lid tamper , I walked round and found one PIR with a lid loose If tamper switch is responding then has to be something else If all options are set to user then you don't need to do an engineer reset

If you can still enter engineers mode? And haven't inadvertently defaulted the panel Can you change all resets to user ?

The way they see it , it's damage limitation nothing else Any hik rebadged still ends up using hikconnect or an app connected to them So if your contract says don't use it ,why would you risk using hik with another label on it, as eventually it will lead to there software and updates and you won't get paid I now opted to use what genie wish range have (only different supplier with no badge and 1/3 of the cost ) All made by TVT China .......

Installation code unknown scantronic9651
If you want to DIY this, 9651 has a spring on the board , first thing is the cover closing it? Second if you believe you have factory reset it's means you have the default engineer code? Manuals are widely available on internet of course Oh change the battery probably rattling by now What area or part of country are you in? The 9651 doesn't need allot to set it up for DIY use if your competent enough Others also who post in here will suggest that ... ... But of course you might just "mash" it up as I say
