  1. there on surfaces which are stepped apart, a "chunky contact" does 30-40mm gap I wouldn't fit then in the locations you've got
  2. visonic tat
  3. The reed is just little bit of metal in glass tube.... I reckon most of the branded alarm contact manufactures buy in the same Reeds... The gases escapes for the glass tube & they either FA or just fail (open or closed) I suspect those the fail early have been thrown around or the screws knocked in with a hammer when fitted IIRC 13mm operating gap, thats look way too far apart
  4. the panel is utter tat & the door contact has probably failed
  5. the plaggy prem with built on expander is quite cheap as the kit
  6. i've the real deal....
  7. awe.... I was expecting this-
  8. err you missed the major issue...
  9. nah I like the proper ones, where the people rise up against their political oppression...... & loot for trainers & big tellys
  10. hope not, I like watching riots on telly
  11. I assume your baseball cap is worn backwards...
  12. Shouldn't you be on ebay looking for Charade GTti or something...
  13. even suicide bombers wouldn't be seen dead in a Suzuki swift...
  14. Drug dealer... #blacklivesmatter
  15. is it deffo the EOL ? eg- you put it on the directly on the panel with no other wiring & it shows fault ? then moved the wiring of a "working" zone circuit across the panel & the zone input show as health ?
  16. I'd guess this item would work- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cooper-JSB-End-of-line-Module-unit-EOLM-1-JSBFX182-/172879364451?epid=1468192093&hash=item284069c163:g:VIgAAOSwKfVXLhIh
  17. I would not need any codes to work on your existing system What a set of bastards... imagine your next disappointment when you discoverer the smoke detectors not been manufactured for decade or so....
  18. 17 years ago you bought a car, would you expect someone to come out for free to decode the radio.... the best place to buy an A2Z Smoke would be CSD Professional
  19. I'd take great pleasure in ripping this old tat of the wall & slinging it in a skip... Your panel will have outputs for status & probably zone (inputs) that work as key switch, You could probably infaces to Pi or whatever which has input & relays Or buy some modern controls which will run an app
  20. cbre sounds ideal...
  21. I assume we are talking about the supermarket & the high street retailer ? I'd assume either would be able to purchase goods & services way cheaper than my cost of supplying an intruder alarm
  22. From commercial point of view a battery is £14 cheaper than a complete back plate, sending a man with a ladder to a site costs a lot more than £14 replacing the battery in an oddessy means taking it down, taking it on the floor apart & refitting, should a new battery not clear the fault or the plastic clips break its would have been cheaper just to fit a new one. Mine would be supplied with a new lid, if you paying money you might as well get something shiny in return
  23. ATI 6000 ? Isn't this from back in the days when Michael Barrymore was a TV star & the Ford Sierra was a best selling car ? I'd advise you "to let your fingers do the walking" & reach for the yellow pages & look for new one
  24. does a small "c" show in the bottom rh line of the lcd ?
  25. shows "service required on the display" after 367 days the beep is either something "chiming" or fault which should be visable when entering a code
