  1. Not very helpful, why have you got a property or home with no codes to the alarm ? Personally I think you'd be better calling a co. however we'd only be interested in replacing the controls, but we should be able to retaining the other devices

  10. your 20 odd yr old controls doesn't do that you've the choice of changing the wiring or change the controls,
  11. R28 might need the pin braying back in if it's misfiring If it been dropped the body might need squeezing together with a vice if splaying out where the pin is The instructions say to oil them but I've never bothered

  13. does every circuit work... does the system work when the mains power is off, does the bell ring when the panel is completely powered down do you have a 20min cut off timer in the external box or does it ring for 3hrs+ ?

  15. You want set of controls for £150.00 ? Less vat thats £125, Materials would cost me £65+vat I'd expect an employee to cost 1/2 a day & transport Can't afford to do it.

    every change of tenancy requires an electrical inspection, every cert will document the the no. of mains powered smoke detectors, IIRC battery only complies with the some recent landlord regs but not with the building reg ?
