  2. 0 then eng code 0 Ent then eng code If you don't have the eng code, the book has defaulting instructions However the 500r is old tat, personally I'd kick it off the wall...
  3. if the dualcom is in the loft & is working.... the modem may have been for downloading, remove it or find a something to make it think its connected to a telephone line ?
  4. I'd assume dial capture was how the dualcom was working ?

  14. personally I've been pulling stuff largely at my cost just to get UDL often the cost of getting it working outstrips the purchase price by quite a lot, I'll also bin controls at my cost if it suits me single path, self contained signalling fills my heart with joy G2,G3,G4 Dual path IP mean I have the subscriber ISP issues
  15. Its either the Equaliser or the A-Team ? TBH I've had a drink & are getting a bit mixed up...
  16. Really ? What other 30yr old constantly on electronic kit in your house have you still got ? The sensors been dropped when the coving was added... Many people only buy 8 core.... saves having lots of different reels & wiring in 6 when 7 pairs are needed.... you have my my deepest sympathy... You need nothing better than a DVM - Voltage, Current, Resistance. voilà every measurement need for an alarm circuit Throw it away & buy something less shite, If I wanted to bodge your knacked old alarm to together- Adjust stetsons to correct angle, check for indians (not you Al ? ) Assume tamper is a negtive loop, Assume 12hr circuits are positive loops At the controls place + voltage into one leg of an unused unlinked zone, if not closed try the other leg Should it not work or the controls start smoking see underlined text or try - ?
