  1. Aviva was looking for a way to void our policy following a claim some years back... Different policy's insured for different risks, similar to having building & contents under different policy's? If friend or relation was in a fix & needed a whte van, the newest is a 16, day insure it & go steady... want to borrow the red car ?, sorry its leased car, you'll have to hire one
  2. I was told NCB on van would not move over to car ? However some will offer it as good will Should you be the same person getting insurance for the same vehicle to cover the same risk, there will be an argument between the insurances when it comes time to pay out If I where to lend you a van you would not be on my fleet policy, but there's is nothing to stop you insuring it. Should you prang it into a bus full of nuns... my risk would be not getting paid the full value of the vehicle or have to hire one whilst the claim is settled ? if its a 5k van, its not he end of the world.... if its a 25k van & on finance, its a very foolish thing to do. However
  3. insured by 2 different parties no different to the garage being able to drive my van on their insurance or me hiring / borrowing a van & having it insured by me & the owner of the vehicle having it insured
  4. day insurance for a month is cira £100 with a £100 excess, if push came to shove he could use your asset with his fuel & insurance ?
  5. If he's using the external terminals the jumper on pcb bridges the reed ?

I recall having a massive ball ache trying to get an ata converter working... Either be much cleverer than me, or better still have tame IT muppet who know what he's doing... Today's massive ballache was having to drill an 801 lock off the fire controls either my key broke it, the lock was broken or it have been changed from 801 by the last people to touch it ?
  7. Is that battery dated ? If so why would you have to move the battery it to see the date ? Those alarm cables marked? Why have you got main & low voltage shoved though the same ungrommeted hole ? Why is there no stress relief for the mains If you wish to post an example of your specification that's when the proper fun starts...

  9. I had hiwatch camera on port 85 on the bench the other week & knew my work router to house router was working on port 85 in the past it appears the controls do not take up the software changes until power cycled or a code in entered on the psychical keypad however the downloading software still won't load on the intended win8 machine, the same file loads on my lenovo & acer laptops there all 64 bit machines....
  10. should you change the banner text- download it into the controls, the old banner is displayed until the user code is entered, odd...
