we have asked to look at the Euro one panel by castle any views comments would be appreciated just trying to get head round new menvier M800 and kit looks very similar in the way it is wired and expanded local suppler has in stock (awaiting demo to try )

Hi all First time I've tried to attach images to a post, so I hope I've done it right. Images are a bit cr@p due to poor light. Can anyone tell me what make of panel this is? It was installed by Everest (or one of their contractors) & and is mostly wire free & had comms to an ARC. Been asked to take it over for a mate, so need to default it (and find a manual) and I have no other info on it other than it was serviced by a firm called Microtec until about a year ago. It's been in for aprox 3 years I'm told. Any info would be much appreciated Thanks Chris

Hello all, Just need someone to jog my memory on how to reset vipers via a 12v Relay. i spent too much time trying to work it out for myself at 7pm after a typical //.National Installer.// takeover and got frustrated (as you do!) iv done it only a few times before but always forget to do a diagram. I would wire them sepratly into the outputs but //.National Installer.// decided to put every room consisting of up to 8 or 9 vipers per cable & zone, so no wonder every call out report had issues with voltage drop on the vipers, i woulnt mind but they had the 1st fix on the property and could have at least ran seperate cables. got a customer with an old scanny 9800 the rkp has just started to play up a bit done the usual suggested they change code but there not having any of it.now i know there is a rkp i can use in place but what scanny rkp can i use any help or suggestions appreciated thanks guys pete

Due to various circumstances a client has asked me to take over another branch. This has a Europlex with 80+ zones the panel belongs to another alarm firm and will be ripped out by their engineer. I would like a bolt on replacement to connect directly to the data lines that will see A lems and Quad lems along with Hybrid's and C lems. What DD243 compliand panel is there out there. Thanks.

a recent posting was asking about defaulting a eurosec pamel, It was mentioned that the chip can be replaced. surely a list of panels and their respective NVM chip types would help fellow installers but since I dont have access to some of the panels that other engs use can we list them all here? for example panel type chip type scantronic 9800 93c16 regards Bellman

2 New poll's for the Graded Panels. Which graded panel's do you install the most. Who manufactures your most used panel. Have I missed anyone out..? Do Lyntec do a G2 panel.? Do Texecom do a G3 panel..?

has anyone come accross these panels no bell tamper if using own hard wired bell so wouldnt comply for even grade 2 install have to use there own nicad batterys, but only about 1ah could go on and on but youre comments views please

Whats the standard panel that Shorrock Initail used? The one with the extended tick and cross? Are they a panel with a standard manual like the Galaxy 8/18/60 etc?
