  1. i think a zero reading to sparks is on 20k, to alarm lads 50 ohms is a concern
  2. As above 6 is correct.
  3. Depends on what you have, if it's installed correctly then yes but you have took on the liability by removing it. You should of called your maintainer
  4. Out of interest why did you replace the fuse box?
  5. No the keypad has to match the panel
  6. I think you will struggle, the gen 4 prox option was popular, while fobs can be sorted hardware can't. I'd suggest a panel change
  7. Pre Brexit there were loads of names...
  8. A Agreed
  9. oh Im sure they are answering their supported clients. But assuming no-ones been fiddling with it you should be able to reset it with your master code.
  10. You probably just need to acknowledge the mains fail. But if your with ADT id give them a call as your on a support contract
  11. How have you been arming it etc then? It shouldnt need a engineer reset if yuo have only had the power off
  12. What do you mean by Unset code, your manager code should be used for unset etc
  13. It could be a faulty sensor. Cover it over and see if the activations stop. That will show if its in the room or something else. When was it last serviced etc?
  14. I'd class it as prosumer better than yale response etc but not a 'pro' bit of kit. I would also say that market is merging for the DIY+ market they know they can't get the right stuff from b&q screwfix etc
  15. Tamper Return - T Bell Trigger - B 12v+ - D 0v- - A Strobe - STB -
  16. The motion detection on blink is awful. False alarms and misses events. I only got one to compare it to my proper 'granted' wired cctv I don't like motion detection unless using detectors
  17. Like the current advert. Spoke to a chap on site that had a ring camera going nuts on his phone, then my hkc went off, I had to stop mid chat as I wanted to see what it was. Found it was an amazon delivery. Chap said his did the same but it goes off all the time I normally have it on silent, he did add it was cheap tho
  18. As H says
  19. Your asking a 20 ish quid at the low end to determine that the movement wasn't a person. As 6 I hate them haven't found one I'd use yet
  20. Glad to see
  21. Yeah I've changed a tyre on a xj220 too. However on the euro have you checked the fuse on the battery. It does look like a board issue though. Bear in mind the euro does sense battery volts and demand and adjusts charging accordingly
  22. Agreed but it looks like initial exploit is from a bad website or ad within a legit site. That then runs the code (based on browser and as the developer is on apple safari was tested hard) I see how the scan of local IP works based on the seeing what responds time wise. I assume this attack is primerly looking for ways into the host machine, do you think it could be used to attack anything on the local subnet?
  23. Wow, that gives endless possibilities. Is it patched on the main browsers yet?
  24. Nice i suppose we should have an area showing how it's not done?
  25. I know it's daft, the only way to do it at that cost is cheap stuff fitted very quickly and badly
