  1. Texecom & Lutron

    I connected my Lutron lighting setup to the Texecom panel for a few purposes; On arm - The outside welcome light is on. On alarm - All lights excluding the bedrooms are on full brightness, inside and out. I never integrate in reverse (Lutron switch to arm / disarm) as even adding obfuscation to the mix (press and hold for 5 seconds, press button 5 times etc...) still doesn't protect against little fingures or accidents. Does anyone else integrate Lutron to Texecom?

  2. I am trying to set my alarm using a smart switch

    I have got a RaKo Smart Lighting system and I am trying to program a switch to set my alarm and do a few other bits. I can manage all of the RaKo side of things but I need help with the alarm panel side. What outputs in the panel can I connect to in order to tell it to arm. I have got a relay that can send a signal to the alarm but don’t know where to connect up on the panel side. I have got a Texecom Premier Elite 24 Panel. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks a lot.

    As many of you will know im extending my own Home assistant system. I have noticed some support for what i would call 'proper' control equipment rather than the toy town stuff more traditionally supported. I see texecom have a mqtt Texecom2mqtt: Texecom alarm panel and MQTT integration with HA support - Third party integrations - Home Assistant Community (home-assistant.io) Vanderbilt have Vanderbilt SPC - Home Assistant (home-assistant.io) Galaxy Guy has one for Honeywell Galaxy (im sure he will post more info) Hikvision GitHub - zoilomora/hikvision-to-mqtt: Sends alarm events from Hikvision DVR to MQTT

    Hey everyone, I am the creator of a module for the Honeywell Galaxy series panels ( https://seasoft.nl ) and received a question in regards to a certified installation and integration into HA. As far as I understood there are some sections in the BSI regs that deal with this for remote arming / disarming. Can someone give a short recap on the hardware requirements for certification and software implementation?
