  1. Can't you just use WINE to view them with the windows software?
  2. Ha ha well WTF did he mean then? Ours would be the same. Northgate vans leased to the company I work for
  3. Nexus or the hudl 2 My daughters got an iPad mini( 2years old this Xmas) but when it breaks I'll probally replace it with a Nexus device. Hudl 2 seems to get some good reviews.
  4. That's what I was thinking. Must have been sat around for a while.
  5. If it was fitted 2 years ago I'd be suprised if it needs a firmware upgrade to take the RF Portal.
  6. The update has to be done with a dongle and a laptop. When was the system installed? Is it under a maintence contract? Should just be a cost of a call out to update the firmware. (Price Will depend on area and company)
  7. Can the software on this be branded to show company logos etc?
  8. Replace the panel. They are obsolete are some models have an issues with overcharging the battery. I'd reccomemd a texecom veritas 8 as a replacement for a similar model.
  9. If it can't be cabled from the dvr. Not sure if a HDMI to cat 5 convertor would work over homeplugs. 1-rf modulator 2-android TV stick and the App 3-MAGIC?? Lol
  10. HMDI over cat 5. Android USB stick with the native IVMS app installed. Is it a smart TV?
  11. Is the app airplay compatible? Not sure if it will stream every app or not. If it were and android box and a android phone however easy peasey.
  12. As above think of going wireless. Just be careful with signal strength. Depends how thick the concrete floors are.
  13. Yes the galaxy or texecom will support areas/groups How are other trades running cables? Are you having plaster boarded walls dotted and dabbed?
  14. I've got a fishtape, it looks similar its useless for long runs as it coils back on itself and you usually end up with a loop of it about 4m away in the void
  15. Just relised we are in public As Jim says, works well
  16. Depends The first few we were getting went setup for dialcapture so you had to ring to swap it over Latley they come setup for DC and the pins show up as 8001-8008 in mas We've swapped ARCs aswell so that might have something to do with it. There's no harm is trying it first
  17. Ideal ! we've recntly started fitting the enforcer On a side not will the enforcer take a wired expander or would it be better to use the euro 46 with a wireless expander?
  18. lolIn all fairness the digair is a good product and I've not had any major issues. You can have it on dialcapture with SIA and use the pins for fire etc
  19. So does Matt but that's a premium rate line
  20. I think they are open until 6. Scanny digis have got me out the **** a few times over the years.
  21. I've got a spare udl and a spare normal in the van but they are only any good if its already got one fitted A "blank" digi air would be good. Can't see why they couldn't issue them , does depend how quick the arc and CSL could get the account ready
  22. I tend to agree with DD on this one. Having one spare in the van awaiting activation would be nice. Even if its a get out of jail card kind of thing if something is urgent.
  23. We've been paperless (sort of) for a while now just swapping CRMs
