  1. Dualcom is supported on the g2 series either pins or dial capture , I belive WebwayOne is comparable on the g2 via rs485 data line and pins and dial capture (don't use WebwayOne so not 100%) Reset procedure is the same on the flex as other galaxy's Only ever fitted one flex. I go with either G2 or a full dimension
  2. If you've messed with system programming and it doesn't activate if your broken into. Your insurers may use it as a way of not paying out . I'd strongly recommend having the local installer carry out a maintenance ( as it should be getting checked every year anyway) and ask the enginee to turn down the volume while he's there. As others have said it's not their fault you now want it quieter
  3. Why not ask your installer to change it on a maintenance visit?
  4. Don't use cat5 if you can. Or watch for volt drop
  5. As Norman, nice and easy to takeovers. pain for some customers to reset, we have more issues with galaxy than any other system we have out there.
  6. Stats just a G2-20 with an RF portal and wire free devices. I'd say Galaxy was the most common commercial alarm panel. So yeah we've probably all used that equipment.
  7. Needs to be set as Zem0 for first zen which will then use zones 9-16 Zem1 uses zones 17-24 Hope that helps
  8. Didn't realise Snow White ran an exotic dancing club
  9. Id agree £100 is cheap for a Saturday install. Is that the only issue you have with them? I'm on a decent wage Peter but I can't say I'd use tenners my cigars.... Fivers maybe. Weekend time with family is worth more than £100 in my book
  10. As far as I know they only way it to sent it back to the factory. Rip it out and fit something decent.
  11. If your in the industry, your better off ripping it out an fitting something you know.
  12. Don't Tyco (Adt) own visonic tho? I've fitted it in the past but there's better Kit out there now IMO
  13. Company I used to work for used winsims and moved to cash as it intergrated with the ARC they used. If you spend some time inputting the data and setting it up correctly all should be good
  14. Evening, There's been some discussions about this on the forum in the past. They might have been on the trade side (you'll have to make some more posts and apply for trade for that) We've just gone AM tho after using Cash & Winsims in the past AM looks like a good deal. Seems to do everything Cash does anyway.
  15. Contact a local firm, look for a SSAIB or NSI approved company. What area are you in? Maybe there's a member here who can help.
  16. How much do you pay for a pk of 100 of those Nova?
  17. Old thread I know but I'm looking for one aswell. Can't seem to find one locally
  18. Interference on cat5 , psu issues HDD space on Dvr poor quality cameras giving almost useless images if anything happens etc. seen is it all before on DIY installs
  19. good luck on getting a 17ah battery in a g2-12. never seen anything bigger than a 12ah in a g2-12
  20. Erm..... Yea think so. We don't use the input , technistore is easier (for us anyway)
  21. Galaxy have a remote reset input on the trigger leads.
  22. Same with texecom , just enable it (galaxys are more secure tho)
  23. I'd cat6 the lot and a fibre link to the outbuilding. How remote is it? Wasnt there supposed to be some government thing increasing broadband to rural areas?
