  1. I am too young but you could get away with driving any old chassis on trade plates. Can't imagine you'd get away with that sort of thing now.
  2. I would usually say Leyland but I imagine many wouldn't know where that was. Dennis kid myself.
  3. Back EMF is the word your looking for.
  4. 99s are like £1.30 now, It says Bedford on the buses...
  5. You shouldn't break neutrals for anything! I imagine using a relay from a programmed output to trigger the emergency stop input? Why not a lockable isolator?
  6. From your description the resistors are in the right terminals, is the panel programmed for DEOL?
  7. It can't be helped if that's the kit the installer supports. If you didn't stock Texe people would shop elsewhere for it. Clearly there are installers out there that buy Texe from SW knowing they get good service.
  8. If you have proved your engineers keypad and lead is ok and the DIP switches to enable the radio side are on then I can't think of anything else.
  9. Sorry yes, I just noticed it's a 48-W. You mean the LED's near the flashing port?
  10. Early Starburst Menvier keypad, as above. You can revive them for a little while if you clean the contacts. You should be looking for new controls as any used stuff will have similar wear.
  11. Not necessarily there maybe a short on the data
  12. Have a read over this thread before I start getting deja-vu.
  13. If you wish, or enter the user code upon tamper.
  14. The keypad membrane on a Veritas is enclosed and not the type you would normally clean with isopropyl or the like. They are pretty robust the keypads so if you are competent I would take it apart and check it's faulty. I would check the system arms on Part and if diagnosed a faulty keypad then I am sure you can pick them up. Veritas K Keypad I believe they are called.
  15. Standby battery faulty and panel lost it's memory I'd say.
  16. What you need to increase your company profile in the age of the botnet is... https://vulnsec.com/2016/netgear-router-rce/ https://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/582384
  17. Guard Access would be the Texe term
  18. SSAIB with ISO9001 would be the next step I assume? But you don't get a shiny for it?
  19. Do you know the code, are you sure is correct? Is this an Excel keypad with a LCD DIsplay? Do you know why it when into tamper in the first place?
  20. I would guess the lid isn't located on the backplate correclty
  21. But that's not low maintenance, they all have ongoing costs.
  22. Yep I agree. Looking at budget, and the fact you stated low maintenance. I'd make sure any door and window locks are sufficient, add or upgrade if necessary. Dummy box and a few battery powered adhesive shock sensors on vulnerable windows. Maybe you'll have change left for a pie dinner.
